Amazing stay at the minimalist boutique hotel with great services and friendly staff. Location is perfect for exploring local food and MTR is within a few minutes walk too.

First off, I have to say the room was quite spacious. However, the decor is very minimalist. Before I arrived, I read reviews mentioning that the bathroom's glass door was transparent, and indeed it was, which was a bit awkward sharing with a friend. The front desk staff and housekeeping were very friendly and welcoming. But, I wouldn't recommend it for families with children, as the chairs in the room are quite small, and there's no space for kids to play with toys. A big plus for me is that the bathroom doesn't have a shower curtain. They don't provide any disposable toiletries, so remember to bring your own.

There were yellow urine stains on the toilet seat, making it unusable. The Dyson hairdryer looked greasy. The room was dark, and while I can't speak for the rest of the room's cleanliness, the bathroom was definitely dirty. Toothbrushes cost 10 yuan each. The location, however, was good.

Nice looking, nice amenities (except desk, more about which below), great location. Downsides 1: terrible sound insulation from above (noticeable during day and at 1am) and a ventilation unit (that cannot be switched off) that sounds like water running through pipes and is constant (really bothered me on first night so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper) 2. The desk is adorable but the lid fell on my laptop screen and broke it because it doesn’t stay up and the lid should be deeper to prevent this (poor design), so now it’s going to cost me 4000HKD to fix because my insurance won’t cover it, which is really really annoying 3. Expect the staff to phone you at 1 minute past checkout time to remind you (not very chill)

Really loved the hotel's design style. The room was well-equipped with all the amenities and was spotlessly clean. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and Tin Hau MTR station is just a short walk away.
