Ibis Bangkok Riverside

June 10-13, 2026 Four days, three nights, NT$4988, which is NT$1663 per night, excluding breakfast, for a twin room with a city view. The location is quite good. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to ICONSIAM. From the outdoor bar area, you can see the cruise boats and scenery on the Chao Phraya River, especially the colorful night view, which really captures the essence of Bangkok, Thailand. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and cleaned our room thoroughly every day. The young ladies at the bar area also provided excellent service. However, the front desk staff seemed less welcoming, perhaps due to a language barrier with us. The Ibis Riverside Bangkok is cleaner than the Ibis Hua Hin. The waterproof sealant in the bathroom looked new, as if it had just been replaced! However, the rooms are small, and the soundproofing isn't great. For the price, it feels a bit high. Since we'd had too many hotel breakfasts on this trip, we decided not to have breakfast at the Ibis Riverside this time, otherwise the price would have been even higher. It doesn't offer the same value for money as the Ibis Hua Hin.

The pool water is always purified and clean. It's probably 25 meters long, so there's plenty of room to swim. However, there are only two showers poolside, and only two shared toilets for those using the conference rooms, so there's always a wait. While I don't mind not having indoor showers by the pool, a changing room would be appreciated for getting dressed.

My stay at this hotel was excellent in every respect. From the moment I checked in, the staff were friendly and professional, completing the check-in process quickly with a wonderful welcome. The room was very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything a guest might need. The bed was extremely comfortable, the air conditioning worked efficiently, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The bathroom was clean and contained all essential amenities, with clear attention to detail. The hotel's location is excellent, close to restaurants, markets, and attractions, which made getting around easy without needing much time. The facilities were of a high standard, including the pool and common areas, all of which were clean and well-organized. The internet was also fast and stable throughout my stay. The breakfast was varied and delicious, with options to suit different tastes, and items were replenished continuously. What impressed me most was the staff's attentiveness to guest comfort and their quick response to any request, always with a smile and respect. Overall, the value for money was excellent, and it was a comfortable experience that exceeded my expectations. I will definitely return to stay here again, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel that combines cleanliness, comfort, and high-quality service.

These were amazing weekends. I booked a room for 4 days; the room was a medium size and cozy. Housekeeping was available upon request. Breakfast was from 6-11 AM, not particularly varied, but I never left hungry. The pool was clean and large, with plenty of sun loungers, and offered beautiful views of the river and the opposite bank. It's a 15-minute walk to the boat station for access to the main attractions. ICONSIAM is also a 16-minute walk away. The metro station is about 15 minutes away as well. There are two 7/11 stores nearby and many diverse local cafes. Upon check-in, they asked for a 1000 baht deposit, which was returned without any issues upon check-out. The staff speaks English and tries their best to help and provide information. I will definitely come back here again; I really liked that it's not as chaotic as the city center. A taxi to and from the airport costs approximately 500-600 baht.

The facilities are very clean, and the view from the riverside is wonderful. It's a bit of a walk from the station, about 10 minutes or so if you're on foot. It's fine if you plan on using taxis primarily. On the other hand, the Sathorn ferry terminal is close by, so you can catch the first Blue Flag boat and get a good seat. It would have been nice if there were sandals or slippers in the room.

I stayed at Ibis Bangkok Riverside for a week. This hotel is a good fit for business trips or short stays of a few days, especially if your main goal is shopping and exploring the city. A big plus is its excellent location. IconSiam shopping mall is within walking distance, which is very convenient. I also liked the swimming pool: it was clean, and there were always plenty of available sun loungers. The breakfast selection wasn't very diverse, but I could always find something suitable each day. Room cleaning was done daily. On the downside, the rooms are noticeably outdated and need renovation. Additionally, the windows in the rooms don't open, and after a few days, this started to create a feeling of being in an enclosed space. Despite being a non-smoking room, there was a smell of dampness and tobacco. I'd like to specially mention the beautiful river view, which made the stay more pleasant. Overall, if you're considering the hotel for a few days for a business trip or shopping, it's a decent choice for the price.
