Belvedere Village

Great for families. Pools good. Thank you to Letizia from the mini club for all the fun provided :D Spacious grounds. WiFi was patchy, very annoying. We found the premise and room to be spotless. Breakfast was limited and could be unappealing e.g. old fruit, the odd banana, a few of the previous night’s mozzarella slices chucked on a big platter and served. Dinner was good. Longer wait to be served at peak times for dinner. Restaurant manager excellent. Maxi cappuccino €5 and only marginally bigger than the €2.50 one. Reception staff and cleaning team great. Overall we had a great stay.

We would like to thank the two kids’ club animators for their kindness, professionalism, and wonderful care with the children. Thanks to their energy, patience, and positive attitude, the children had an amazing time having fun, dancing, and singing in a joyful and safe atmosphere. They created beautiful memories for the kids. A big thank you to both of them for their excellent work!

The rooms are very clean, with fresh towels every day. It's also quiet in September. But Angela and Mariana are fantastic!!!!!

We stayed for our second time (first time June 2023) at Belvedere and cannot fault the accommodation or facilities. We initially stayed for 2 weeks having booked through Eurocamp and the apartment was clean and well laid out. It did seem smaller than when we previously stayed, but it wasn't a big deal. The third week, we booked directly through the hotel and the apartment was bigger, with a more comfortable layout and a TV which had signal - the previous 2 weeks we didn't have any reception. All pools were clean and maintained well and the hotel grounds were well kept. There was almost always beds available when we went the pool (there was 5 of us) and there was only one day where we struggled getting beds. We had takeaway food and pizza from the restaurant and it was nice. Pizzas are well priced and delicious. Staff around the restaurant were polite, well trained and always kind to my kids. There was an older gentleman who was really nice and welcoming every time we went to the restaurant area. Reception staff were nice, helpful and polite when we needed information, but that was maybe once or twice. The location is fine for us. We don't drive but have found the buses are reliable and frequent enough to get us to Sirmione, Peschiera or Verona. There is also a fantastic supermarket at the bottom of the hill (10 mins walk), this sells everything you need. The opposite way into Castelnuovo del Garda, there are a couple of excellent bakeries which are really well priced. I would have absolutely no hesitation in returning to Belvedere Village and look forward to the next time we do!

Honestly, I don’t understand the positive reviews. This place is simply terrible. Upon arrival, the Reception staff was polite, but nothing special. We booked the most expensive, Premium apartment, but it was absolutely disgusting. Very dirty, the walls were stained, the bedding smelled bad, there was a strong urine smell everywhere. I couldn’t believe my eyes. The staff at the pools and the restaurant were rude and unfriendly, clearly showing they disliked the guests. Breakfast: I have no words to describe the quality. Whoever offers this to guests who pay a significant amount of money I would make them eat it every day. One morning, the milk was spoiled and sour. I told a staff member, who insisted it was fresh. I asked them to please drink a glass, and instead, of course, they poured it out… Disgusting. The grate around the pool is also dangerous, with gaps in many places, which could cause serious injury. We paid nearly €1500 for only 5 nights. The value for money is terrible. The only good thing is the location just 7–10 minutes by car to Gardaland.

The apartment was clean but no kettle, toaster or iron available. It's remote and uphill so car is necessary. Reception staff were great. Restaurant/Bar is very poor in both food choices and service, if you are half board and it's closed at 10.30pm. No entertainment for adults. Overall, if you don't swim, and don't have children, there is nothing to do.

Good place to stay for families Great place. We stayed for three days. We only used the big pool, it was very nice. Good food in the restaurant. The bathroom could use an upgrade. A lot to do in the area. We would come back for another visit.

The medium pool is very dangerous for kids , there no guidelines on pool depth, the life gaurd was busy on their phone. Rooms was fine but basic Very hard to get a taxi anywhere and if we did we have to wait hours. It is in the middle of nowhere, especially when it’s self catering. The only plus was we enjoyed the foam party on Friday.
