Peterstone Court Country House Restaurant & Spa

A massive thank you to all the staff at Peterstone Hotel, especially Dawn who pulled everything together to make our son and daughter in law wedding dream come true ! The food was absolutely incredible, the staff were fantastic, and nothing was too much for them ! The grounds, the rooms, and all the facilities were stunning . All the guests commented on how smoothly the day / evening went and that's due to the staff who looked after us !! I can highly recommend this hotel for future wedding ceremonies !

Called in for a light lunch recently on a boiling hot day. Luckily it was unusually quiet when we arrived. Staff were very friendly as usual. I ordered the Coronation chicken sandwiches , my Mother ordered the ham & tomato sandwiches with a portion of chips. All was delicious , the chips were the best we have tasted in ages and a large portion. Luckily we had room for dessert so we shared the Strawberry Pavlova which was scrumptious and a very large portion, as you can see from the photo. A lovely couple of hours spent in a beautiful location and we look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you Peterstone Court.

Lovely traditional country house hotel set in scenic grounds. Not many hotels could have better views from the restaurant. Lovely terrace on a warm evening. Welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. Not only did they serve us, but also waited upon our dog. The staff made us feel so welcome, even though we weren't residents and had called in as casual diners on an evening dog walk. The food was outstanding using locally sourced produce. The beautiful food was served in a relaxed atmosphere that made evening feel special.

Our stay was truly wonderful from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—rich in history and full of character—and the gardens are simply breathtaking. Being able to walk down to the River Usk and wander for miles through the open fields was such a special experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, making it easy to relax and feel at home. What really set this stay apart, however, was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, kind, and welcoming. The dining team were especially lovely and incredibly accommodating, making each meal feel personal and enjoyable. A particularly memorable moment was on the morning of our departure, when the gardener—while tending to the fire—took the time to stop and chat with us about the grounds. It’s those thoughtful, human touches that make a stay truly unforgettable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It was a genuinely special and memorable experience.

Lovely location and building, food was a little overpriced but worth the location and long drive. Unfortunately I had to send my steak back twice as it was not palatable and £41 o would have expected far better, full of fat and very chewy. Service was good and was refunded but went away without eating, the rest of the families food was ok

My husband booked for a Mother's Day Sunday lunch. Welcome was nice, service was friendly but very slow. The vegan starter option was potato & wild garlic soup which was truly awful....tasted of burned cigarette butts. No chef had tasted it for sure! And after waiting an age for deserts the vegan option had clearly been forgotten.....an Apple crumble swiftly assembled was actually Apple & Rhubarb with oats on top. A real shame for a beautiful location

A pre Mother’s Day lunch for three. A warm welcome and a delicious lunch at this fantastic location. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. We will be back to sit on the terrace on a sunny day and take in the view.
