Arro Khampa Lhasa

Arro Khampa gave me all the wonderful experiences I had in Lhasa. The front desk upgraded me to a room with a balcony. I stayed for two nights. The first day, I was so excited that I played all day long. I only truly started to rest when I got back to the hotel with mild altitude sickness. After breathing oxygen for a night, I was full of energy the next day. There seem to be only about twenty rooms in total, and the staff remember your every need and preference. On the second day, I was exhausted from altitude sickness, and the staff brought food to my room and even helped me change to a more comfortable pillow. It was my first solo trip to Lhasa, and I wasn't fully prepared, but thankfully I booked this place. It's truly worth it~~~. The small shop at the entrance was also full of surprises. I took a small potato with me when I left. 🥔 I hope to have the chance to come back again someday.

The butler service was great and the staff were very enthusiastic. It's a guesthouse well worth experiencing. The only, only, only minor drawback was the limited breakfast options.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic, from the rooms and design to the service! This was by far the best surprise of our Tibet trip, offering incredible value for money, and the food was delicious too. It's the kind of place where once you check in, you really don't want to leave. My friend and I have decided that if we ever come back to Lhasa, we'll only stay here. And ignore anyone who says there are better guesthouses in Lhasa – I've tried them, and there aren't! 😂

Facilities: The room is a medium size, not very big, but the balcony is quite spacious. On the first day, I experienced some altitude sickness and lacked oxygen. The diffused oxygen supply wasn't quite enough, so I had to sit next to an oxygen tank. Cleanliness: OK Environment: Very good, with an old town style. The atmosphere is a bit dark and mysterious, and the room itself is also quite dim. Service: There's a butler service, and the milk tea in the lobby is delicious. Breakfast: Quite average, not many varieties. The rice noodles they cooked were also just so-so. Evening drink: It was a tremella soup.

I chose to stay here one night before leaving Lhasa. The service was excellent, and every staff member was very nice. The hotel is quiet despite being in a bustling area, about a 20-minute walk from Barkhor Street. The room facilities were also quite thoughtful, clean and tidy. Overall, I had a very good stay. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, but the breakfast restaurant had a strong smell of oil and smoke, which needs improvement. The complimentary afternoon tea coffee wasn't very good either, and there's room for improvement.

The room, though small, was very comfortable and cozy, with a small terrace – fantastic! The amenities were also well-chosen and very comfortable. Every staff member seemed passionate about their work; they were all smiling, and the breakfast was exquisite and thoughtfully prepared. The food was delicious too! Thank you to every staff member here, I loved it! I definitely want to try this brand's guesthouses in other locations sometime.

The hotel I highly recommend in Lhasa. The overall design was my and my friend's favorite, and it also had a great architectural style.

I couldn't book a standard double room, so I booked a suite instead. The room was very large and spacious. The 24-hour oxygen supply was excellent; you could even ask the front desk for a nasal cannula. I liked the hotel's toiletries; they smelled wonderful. They added a butler upon check-in, and any problems were promptly resolved. The breakfast items—rice noodles, yogurt, and pastries—were all quite good. The hotel is very close to Barkhor Street, within walking distance, and there are cafes, Zhixi Space, and Nuola shops nearby, making the location very convenient. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I would choose this hotel again if I went to Lhasa.

The hotel was absolutely amazing. I arrived around 8 PM, and they immediately offered me sweet tea and asked me to sit down and rest. The hotel staff had already checked me in. The air conditioning and oxygen generator were already on in the room, and the white fungus porridge on the table was at the perfect temperature. The overall facilities were excellent, the shower gel smelled wonderful, and the room was very clean. The kettle boiled water quickly, and the service was great. The only downside was the TV; it could be upgraded. The breakfast was delicious, especially the rice noodles—I ate two bowls! The chicken sausage was also excellent; many dishes featured beef and chicken, which are suitable for ethnic minorities, which was a big plus. The stir-fried ******* noodles were delicious, and the yogurt was also very good. However, the toppings were just average, and the honey was a little too sweet. But overall, it was fantastic. They first poured me a cup of tea, then I asked for hot milk, and they even prepared hot coffee for me – very thoughtful. The next morning, I had to catch a flight at 7 am, so I asked the hotel if they could prepare breakfast, and they thoughtfully provided bread, water, and milk. The hotel offered a choice between afternoon tea and evening drinks; I chose the drinks because I was busy in the afternoon and didn't go for the afternoon tea, but the drinks were truly amazing and delicious. Just look at the pictures! They gave me a gin and tonic, the orange one was Blood and Sand, the one with cucumber was Moscow Mule, and the red wine was Sangria. That was my order. The Blood and Sand and Sangria were very good (I recommend drinking the Sangria last). I also left an unused oxygen cylinder for you.
