Lamaro Hotel

The most satisfying hotel from my Barcelona trip! Considering its quality and location, it's probably the best value for money among all the hotels I compared. It's right in front of the cathedral square, and the subway is super convenient. The breakfast offers a wide variety, and it's much more cost-effective if included in the room rate than buying it separately. The shampoo and lotion are from Bulgari. The front desk asked us beforehand if we preferred a street-view room or a quieter one facing inwards. Street-view rooms can be a bit noisy but come with a balcony that offers a view (my room type was a bit to the side). The hotel room also has a free capsule coffee machine. The rooftop bar is very popular because of its great views, but you have to make a purchase to stay. Housekeeping is very clean. The only downside is that laundry costs extra and isn't cheap. The elevator is quite small, fitting a maximum of 3-4 people. I had originally planned to stay a night in a nearby town and pick up my luggage the next day, but the front desk said they couldn't store overnight luggage, which is understandable.

This is a place you'll want to return to. The hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona, and from the very first moments, you can feel the city's special atmosphere: lively, stylish, and inspiring. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to help and make your stay as pleasant as possible. A special highlight is the breakfast: fresh, varied, and truly delicious. It's easy to feel like you're on a dream vacation here, where every detail contributes to your mood. If you're looking for the perfect combination of location, service, and atmosphere, definitely add this hotel to your list.

The location was great, near Plaça de Catalunya and right in front of the Barcelona Cathedral. I think this is a better option than some of the awkwardly overpriced places.

Make sure to book a room with a cathedral view! The free apples at the hotel were delicious, absolutely divine.

The service attitude was absolutely fantastic! The bar upstairs offers a superb view. The doorman at the entrance was also incredibly welcoming and helpful, assisting with taxis and luggage. They greeted us every time we returned to the hotel.
