Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Reno Sparks

We appreciated the location, the complementary snacks available, the service was good, and the breakfast was really good. However I thought I saw online that the pet fee was $50, but it turned out to be $75, plus tax 85. So almost $100 extra for one night, nonrefundable. That seemed very outrageous to me. It seems like if there is no damage done they could refund at least half of the deposit for the pet. So they just rob you of another hundred dollars even if you don't do any damage.

Room was nice but really small for $227.00 for one night. Upon arriving and getting a first floor room found that the outside window to the parking lot was open and could have easily allowed someone to come in. Maintenance fixed it but it was a little disconcerting. Everything else was fine and the morning buffet was very good. There was an additional charge on my credit card for $22.00 that wasn't explained and that was irritating. I would stay there again however as the inconveniences mentioned weren't disqualifying. Customer service at the counter and from housekeeping were very good.

These rooms were very small. We were traveling for sports and had 2 adults and 2 children. Super tight squeeze. I did not notice when booking they were not queen beds they were double beds which did not accomodate us well. We survived but wish i would have noticed because 3 nights was rough with 4 in a room.

Mattress was horrible for side sleepers. I felt the coils poking my sides. Otherwise everything else was great.

Staff were kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and stocked with fresh towels. Hot coffee every morning with generous breakfast buffet. Hotel was close to airport, mall and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

The bed was hard and I got stuck on the freeway side of the property. Not the best night’s sleep by any stretch. Would not recommend.

Check-in was quick and staff very helpful and courteous. Room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
