Koa Kea Resort on Poipu Beach

Beautiful location close to the beach. First room we were shown was extremely dark so we asked to change to a different one that didn't require to have the lights on during the day. Restaurant was decent, bed was comfortable. The one time we wanted to spend some time by the pool there weren't any chairs left, so would advise to go early to secure a spot.

This resort had a beautiful view and small enough where you don't feel surrounded by people. It was peaceful and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Kauai.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a smaller resort, which we loved. The view from our oceanfront room was amazing!

The Way to the small beach was closed so difficult to get to.no late checkout available. Staff were great!rooms were very small.

Phenomenal property. Great location for other excursions. Sea turtles and monk seals right on the beach. Saw humpbacks from the beach. Every staff member interaction was primo. Valet gave us wonderful ideas for restaurants. Clean room with gorgeous ocean view. We enjoyed some quiet evenings enjoying a cocktail on the balcony. Next time we are in Kauai this is exactly where we will stay.

Our stay was overall pleasant, but fell slightly short of expectations. We had booked an “ocean view” room anticipating a direct view of the ocean, however our room overlooked the pool and hot tub area instead. It was only upon arrival that we learned that “front ocean view” rooms are the ones that truly guarantee an ocean-facing perspective, which felt somewhat misleading at the time of booking. The bed was comfortable enough, though not particularly memorable, and while we didn’t have the opportunity to try the on-site dining, the beach itself was nice, though fairly standard. All in all, a decent stay, but I would recommend paying close attention to room categories to avoid any disappointment.

This was our second stay at this particular resort and it was lovely other than the weather.

Hotel is in good condition. It's just nothing special for the money. It's a good location but we found it kind of dull.
