We have been longtime fans of the Hilton Curio Collection. After amazing stays in Lisbon, we were so excited for the opening of Zemi Miches Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton and it exceeded our expectation! It is nestled on the secluded, Playa Esmeralda Beach. A beautiful bay with calm waters where you never have waves. The beach feels like a natural paradise surrounded by trees and native habitat. I was blown away by the tropical feeling here! We saw todys (tiny dark green birds with vibrant red beaks), kingbirds, pelicans swimming by, woodpeckers, and so many local species I had never seen before. The whole place felt alive and peaceful. We stayed 8 nights total. We started in Casa 3 with ocean view, and then upgraded for our last 4 nights to a first-floor room with a private plunge pool. Our little garden had this amazing little tropical tree with gorgeous blossoms and fragrance. They fell with the rain and I enjoyed them my bed side:) The smell was amazing:) Architecturally and feel-wise, I’d say Zemi Miches reminded me a bit of Hilton Cancun Mar Maribe, but Zemi Miches feels more tropical, like a real piece of paradise. Zemi Miches has so many great restaurants; Toa, Boba, Manicato, Yuca. But our favorite was Manicato. The main all-day dining experience at Guacete was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had at any hotel. It offers fresh fish, calamari, mussels, shrimp that you can pick and ask to grill and also offers lobster, steaks, and other kind of meats in buffet and also lots of veggie options every day. Fresh juice bar was also amazing. One of our other favorite place to eat was the Sport Bar. Their crunchy onion rings was even better than back home. Thanks to our bartender Tony, Sports bar was one of our daily stop for frozen mango margaritas with tahini:) He was really good at it. Batey Cafe was also one of our daily ritual for great barista coffee and pastries. The other Hilton hotels should use the same coffee with them. Their coffees were by far the best we experienced in any Hilton hotels. I enjoyed it each time. The resort has something for everyone: - Arcade, bowling, laser tag, escape room. My daughter and husband visited everyday. Thanks to Jose, for his patience and assistance with the escape room. - Different craft workshops for each day. We made cigars, coconut jewelry, ceramics, painted tote bags and bracelets. All complimentary and perfect souvenirs. - Night shows, concerts. Thanks to Karen, Kelly, Nata, William, Yeumi and all animation team! They kept us entertained and smiling all day. - Free water sports like canoeing and paddle-boarding. - Spa: We enjoyed spa time, stone massage by Luisa was a winner twice, and we also did couples therapy sessions (with great discounts each time). I also want to give special recognition to the hotel’s General Manager. We had been following the hotel long before its grand opening and were already familiar with her through interviews. Although we ne
