Checking in, there was a short line, so I went there. The employee was very nice and even offered me an upgrade. They asked me a couple of questions about my preferences. After I answered, I took it and was extremely pleased with the room. Another couple we were travelling with checked in earlier and didn't take the upgrade because of their answers, so I was eager to compare. The rooms were about the same; ours may have been a little larger, but not enough for anyone but me to notice, since I was paying attention. I didn't measure. The trade-off was that we were on the 26th floor, but we had a great view! The room was very nice and clean. The receptionist told me there would not be room service; I would need to call for clean towels or whatever I needed. That was fine with us, as we usually keep the "Do not disturb" sign out anyway. Every morning we went out, the maids were cleaning next door, and I would greet them and tell them I didn't need anything. So I don't know if they would have straightened up or not. It was during Cruising the Coast, and the hotel was probably about full. A nice bonus (in both rooms): they had left 4 bottles of water. The windows were a little dirty but not too bad, and the room had a note saying they were cleaning them. We have stayed there many times before, and we will probably stay there many more times in the future.
