Our stay at M Gallery Maldives was truly exceptional. From the seamless seaplane transfer and warm arrival to the moment we left, everything was handled so well.The resort has been renovated beautifully. It feels sophisticated and luxurious while still retaining the relaxed, intimate atmosphere that makes the Maldives so special. Our water villa was absolutely gorgeous- beautifully designed, spacious and incredibly peaceful, with spectacular views and direct access to the water. We loved the bathroom! What really elevated the experience, however, were the staff. The service was faultless throughout our stay. Everyone we encountered was genuinely warm, gracious and attentive, and there was a wonderful sense that nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff somehow managed to anticipate what we needed while still giving us complete space to relax. It made the entire stay feel incredibly personal and welcoming. Everyone was wonderful but thanks to our wonderful butler Moomin who helped make seeing whale sharks possible (very special to us!), waiters Nazaam and Ahfet who brought warmth and professionalism to every interaction and our cleaner Kaheel who made our room always feel so lovely. The food was consistently delicious and beautifully presented, with plenty to look forward to at every meal. We also loved the snorkelling- the water and marine life were wonderful, and being able to simply step into such a beautiful underwater environment added enormously to the experience. There was an ease to the whole stay that is difficult to capture in a review. Beautiful surroundings, a stunning villa, excellent food, wonderful snorkelling and, above all, exceptional people who made everything run seamlessly. Walking barefeet everywhere also was a delight. It was genuinely heavenly and one of those rare holidays where we struggled to find anything we would have changed. We left very reluctantly and would return without hesitation.

## **An unforgettable holiday – Mirihi is exceptional because of its people** We have just returned from an absolutely wonderful holiday at Mirihi, and it is difficult to put into words how special this experience was for our family. Of course, Mirihi itself is beautiful. But what truly sets this resort apart is the team. Every single person we met was genuinely friendly, attentive and committed to making our stay perfect. We would honestly have to mention every employee by name, because everyone contributed in some way. Unfortunately, that would probably make this review far too long. However, there are a few people we would particularly like to thank. First and foremost, **Laafhan from Guest Relations** deserves a very special mention. We have never met anyone who takes care of guests with such dedication. He was always available, kept us informed and made sure that everything was taken care of. This became especially clear during our difficult departure, when the seaplanes were unable to operate as planned because of the weather. The situation was completely beyond the resort’s control, but Laafhan continued to support us, kept us updated and did everything possible to help. His professionalism, patience and genuine concern were exceptional. A huge thank you also goes to **Athif, Shaffan and Hussain from the restaurant**. They were always incredibly friendly, attentive and willing to go far beyond what would normally be expected. They made every visit to the restaurant feel personal and welcoming. And then there was the food: simply outstanding. **Wije, Felix and the entire kitchen team** did an amazing job. The quality and variety were excellent every single day. During our entire stay, there was genuinely not one day on which anything felt missing or disappointing. The food was consistently fantastic. Diving was another major reason why this holiday was so special for us. A particularly warm thank you goes to **Shuhrab and Samer from the dive centre**. To be completely honest, Shuhrab was one of the main reasons we changed our original plans and booked Mirihi after he moved to the dive centre there. My son Max and I completed our Advanced Open Water Diver course with him, and it was an absolutely first-class experience. Shuhrab is not only an excellent instructor, but also someone who creates confidence, enthusiasm and unforgettable memories underwater. Samer was equally welcoming and professional, and the entire dive centre made us feel completely comfortable. We also want to thank **Kirsten, the marine biologist**, who made our stay much more than just a beach and diving holiday. She invited Max and me to participate in coral measurements and coral maintenance, giving us a fascinating insight into the important conservation work being carried out around the island. Her different presentations every Monday evening were informative, engaging and clearly showed how passionate she is about the marine environment. Finally, we must ment

The resort is what you expect when you think about a Maldivian holiday: white sand, crystal clear water, colourful sunset and reef. V Villas are picture perfect. Service is very good, staff is super friendly and helpful. Food is great. Rooms/villas are big and comfortable. The spa has very good therapists and treatments. Excursions were great and even exploring the reef around the resort while snorkeling will let you see a whole set of marine life. We were very lucky and few days before our arrival we were told that in order to apologize for some renovation works going on we would be offered all excursions for free and it was a very good deal: the renovations in a remote area of the island were not even noisy or disruptive of the resort life..

First time I say: I will return because of the kitchen team! Thanks to Felix's team and their stunning and diverse food. The other aspects are also best in class: attentiveness of service, reef, sustainability like water supply etc. Yes, the drinks are expensive but especially the frozen ones are worth it. The only negative thing : intro into the house reef 95 USD is a no go.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Mirihi, and what a beautiful little island it is. The property is small, peaceful and beautifully maintained, with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The food was plentiful, varied and consistently good, with plenty of choice throughout our stay. Housekeeping was also fantastic, with everything kept immaculate. What really makes Mirihi special, however, is the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and attentive, and they really do make the island what it is. A particular thank you to Mohammed, my fellow Chelsea supporter; Ye Lin, who worked so hard looking after us, particularly during Tiger Time; Shaffan, always kind and attentive; Athif, who made me laugh every day; and, of course, Aafee, our wonderfully naughty butler! There are many others we could mention, as the whole team was excellent and made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Mirihi is a beautiful little property with a genuinely lovely team of people. The care and attention from every single member of the team was truly exceptional. The privacy, warmth, and dedication we experienced throughout our stay were simply impeccable. We would especially like to thank Carmen for such a wonderful welcome, and our buddy Lahfaan, who was always looking after us and making sure everything was perfect. A huge thank you to the entire restaurant and kitchen team—Shafan, Latheef, Felix, Ivan, Mohamed, Athif, and everyone else—for always greeting us with a smile and taking such wonderful care of us. Life occasionally gives you extraordinary moments and unforgettable experiences, and V Villas Mirihi is one of those rare places. Not only because of its breathtaking beaches, but also because of its privacy, its peaceful atmosphere, and, above all, its incredible people. Now that we're back home, surrounded once again by the rush of everyday life, the city, and the concrete, whenever we think of a truly happy place, our minds immediately travel back to this island. It has become somewhere we will always want to return to, a place where we have left a little piece of our hearts. Thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon so unforgettable. And one last thing... spending a whole week barefoot is one of life's greatest luxuries!

We have just returned from our third trip to Mirihi and it was the best ever !! We were a bit concerned that the new renovations may have changed the 'relaxing vibe' of the island but there was no need as the new pool and the refurbished rooms were a very welcome addition. Furthermore they have been tastefully done and with no expense spared which has protected the authenticity of the island. The food as always was on a different level with so much choice and catering for all tastes albeit Felix and his fantstic team do not help your waistline. Breakfast follows a similar theme with bespoke egg stations expertly managed by the 'always happy' VJ !! The standout factor for us is that every member of staff from gardeners through to front of house ably managed by the always friendly Carmen and all customer facing staff can't do enough for you and just want you to have a fantastic holiday !! Nothing is too much trouble and the attention to detail is perfect. The bar expereience has also benefitted from the renovations with an improved sitting area in the evening and the service provided by Krishna is as always top quality. We stayed in one of the beach villas which was outstanding as was the service from our room boy Jameel who surprised us daily with his 'sand messages' on our entrance decking and his array of towel sculptures !! The introduction of a personal butler was a nice touch and made things easier to book and Viaam made the process easy. Additionally the free excursions due to the ongoing building works was a very nice thought although our holiday was not affected by these works in anyway whatsoever. Mirihi is without doubt our own personal paradise and we feel so privileged to have found such a special place in the Indian Ocean. We are already looking forward to returning next year.
