Midui Glacier is one of the most iconic glacier views in southeastern Tibet. Here, towering snow-capped mountains, dense forests, and clear lakes create a unique and magnificent natural view as the glacier extends from the mountain peaks down into the forests and valleys. Pristine white ice and snow cover the peaks, shimmering with a crystalline glow under the sunlight. The glacier slowly descends from the heights toward the valley, with massive, layered ice formations where the glacier tongue meets the slopes and forests, creating a spectacular landscape of ice and snow. In spring and summer, the valley is lush with greenery, and wildflowers dot the forests; in autumn, the forest colors become richer, contrasting beautifully with the snow-capped mountains; while winter presents a purer, more tranquil world of ice and snow.Bome · 81.8 km from downtown

When talking about Peach Blossom Valley in Linzhi, many people think of the vast peach blossoms near Donggala Village in Bayi Town. However, there is also a Peach Blossom Valley in Bomi that is just as beautiful. Taohuagou Scenic Area is located near Galang Village along National Highway 318, stretching for nearly 30 kilometers. Its peach blossoms bloom slightly earlier than those in Bayi Town. Every March, clusters of pink blossoms adorn the roadside, making it a great spot for photography. Upon entering the valley, the scenery gradually improves as you approach the blooming peach trees.Bome · 14.8 km from downtown

Guxiang Lake is located next to Guxiang Town, a famous spot on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, and is a barrier lake on the Parlung Tsangpo River. While the lake is not large, it is surrounded by lush trees and features pavilions and towers. On sunny days, the water turns a deep blue, creating a truly pleasant setting. The mountain peaks on both sides of the lake are often snow-capped, and photos of the lake with the snow-capped mountains in the background are stunning.Bome · 28.1 km from downtown

Tongmai Pass is located on the road from Bomi County to Bayi Town. Due to the loose soil and snow-capped mountains and rivers nearby, mudslides and floods occur frequently. This section has become the most dangerous section on the entire Sichuan-Tibet Line and is known as the "Tongmai Cemetery". From Tongmai Bridge to Pailong Section, a total of about 30 kilometers, the mountain road is a small platform on the mountainside formed by digging and piling up soil, hanging high above the river. The roadbed is very soft and the road is difficult to travel. Drivers need to be especially careful when they reach this section. In addition, this section of the road is often closed or limited to a certain time due to road construction, so be mentally prepared.Bome · 72.4 km from downtown

First of all, don't ride a horse when you go to Midui. Don't ride a horse. Don't ride a horse. Don't ride a horse. I'll say it three times. Reasons: First, the walking path is only 1.5 kilometers. Although the altitude is 3,900, the walking route is full of ancient forests. There is plenty of oxygen. Basically, you don't have to worry about altitude sickness. You can walk and stop and have fun. It's very easy to walk to the viewing platform. When I went there, even the old men and women in the sunset group who took the scenic area car walked to the viewing platform. Second, the round-trip price of horse riding is 100 per person. If you take another route, you will miss the scenery on the walking path. And it will limit your time to take pictures at the viewing platform. In addition, the horses are very dirty, not to mention the smell. Third, and most importantly, you can't choose the horse. You have to ride whatever is brought to you. There is no choice. Basically, 90% of the horses are pitifully thin. Those who want to take pictures on horseback advise you to give up this idea. And the local Tibetans who lead horses are extremely arrogant and bad, and even pull you. Because of this personal experience, I chose to walk. Now it seems to be a very correct choice, so I don't want to ruin the good mood of the trip, I advise you to get off the scenic area bus and go straight to the walking path. As for the scenery of Midui Glacier, I personally feel it is worth it. In addition, let's talk about the walking time. Three hours is enough for walking, stopping, taking photos, resting, taking photos at the viewing platform, and taking aerial photos. Don't worry about altitude sickness. I took my 70-year-old mother who has basic diseases such as hypertension and coronary heart disease, and she walked to the viewing platform easily. So finally, I advise you again, stay away from the horses in Midui and those villagers who are trying to cheat you out of money.

It is known as the most beautiful primeval forest in China and a natural oxygen bar. It is very pleasant to walk in it. There is a lake in the forest - Caohu Lake. It is not large but the water is clear, reflecting the snow-capped mountains, blue sky and white clouds, which is beautiful.

Guxiang Lake Scenic Area is next to National Highway 318. There is a double-decker viewing platform, which is free for viewing. The lake is colorful, with snow-capped mountains in the distance and dense forests on the lakeshore. It is really a very beautiful scene. Looking at the snow-capped mountains, forests, and lakes, you can feel your soul being cleansed, which not only relieves stress, but also makes your mind open.

Gawaron in winter is a completely different scene! If you like snow scenery, this place is definitely worth a visit - the whole mountain forest is covered with silver, and the branches are covered with rime, like walking into a fairy tale world of ice and snow. There are much fewer people than in summer, and it is especially quiet. Stepping on the snow makes a creaking sound, and you don’t have to worry about passers-by breaking in when taking pictures. However, there are many things to pay attention to in winter: First of all, the mountain roads may be icy. If you drive by yourself, it is best to install anti-skid chains, or it is safer to take the scenic bus directly. The temperature is very low, especially in the morning and evening. Down jackets, hats, and gloves must be prepared. Mobile phones and camera batteries are also easy to freeze out of power. Remember to stick a warm baby. Some attractions and trails will be closed due to snow accumulation, and the range of play is smaller than in summer. If you catch a heavy snow, you can't see anything when the fog is heavy. It is best to check the weather before going. There are few places to sell food in the scenic area. It is recommended to bring your own thermos cup and dry food. In general, Gawaron in winter is suitable for tourists who like quietness and are not afraid of cold. The snow scenery is really beautiful, but the supporting facilities are indeed not as convenient as in the peak season, so you have to be mentally prepared! But it is really fun! ! (From a southerner who likes to play in the snow⛄️)

A scenic spot on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway 318 that you must pass to get to Bomi. In the past, if a car wanted to pass through, the large trucks had to unload the empty trucks and cross the other side, and then load the trucks again on the other side. The iron cable bridge could not bear such heavy trucks, so it was the only way. Now that the new bridge has been opened, the original iron cable bridge has become a scenic spot.

Spring is here, the weather is getting warmer, the snow-capped mountains are beginning to melt, and the peach blossoms in Nyingchi are slowly blooming. In the snowy weather, the peach blossoms are still blooming stubbornly. The peach blossoms in Nyingchi are white, which is very different from the peach blossoms we usually see in the south. The peach blossoms here are all wild, and the peach trees are also very tall and strong. The peach blossoms all over the mountains are very beautiful!
