This time, I participated in the Leshan Giant Buddha's one-day tour to Mount Emei. Leshan chose a boat tour, but it was suddenly suspended due to heavy fog. Thanks to our guide, Chen Chen, for her quick thinking and resourcefulness in handling the situation, we were able to climb to the Buddha's head and feet. This little incident actually allowed us to get closer to the Leshan Giant Buddha. Thumbs up! 👍 Chen Chen's insightful and vivid explanations of the Leshan Giant Buddha and the cultural history of Mount Emei were truly refreshing and uplifting. It was a wonderful trip. During my 6-day trip with my parents, I planned to visit both the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei on the fifth day – a truly efficient choice!
Firstly, I was fortunate to have our guide, Ms. Wan, with exceptional professionalism. She minimized walking, managed the time effectively, and led our group of 33 people with engaging and memorable explanations, emphasizing important points. Her high energy was infectious, and we could feel her love for Mount Emei. The tour bus was also very comfortable.
Furthermore, on Friday, November 21st, the morning was cloudy. During the boat trip on Leshan Giant Buddha, we had a fun encounter with red-billed gulls. The afternoon at the Golden Summit of Mount Emei was also cloudy with high visibility – great weather, but we needed to dress warmly and wear hats. We encountered monkeys both on the way up and down Mount Emei – lucky us! The number of people at both attractions was just right, and we met some great fellow travelers.
Overall, the trip went very smoothly and wasn't too tiring. Because the journey from Chengdu to Leshan involved taking a bus up the mountain, even though we left at 5 AM and returned to Chengdu at 9 PM, the 9 hours on the bus were essentially a rest period, and I personally slept most of the time. My parents also found the day's itinerary quite interesting, only finding the 1.5km uphill hike a bit challenging (my mother is overweight and doesn't exercise much).

Great trip! I have always wanted to go to the great Buddha of Leshan. The only problem is that I was in works. Besides walking through the complex, take a boat to see Buddha from the water
