It was built in the 11th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign (1885) and covers an area of ​​27 mu. It was named Xiaolianzhuang because of the name of the Lotus Manor built by Zhao Mengfu, a great calligrapher and painter from Huzhou in the late Yuan Dynasty. Xiaolianzhuang is adjacent to Jiaye Library, and outside the garden is the Quail Creek.</p><p><br></p><p>【Jiayetang Library】 is located on the bank of the Quail Creek in Nanxun Town, and is adjacent to the private garden of the Liu family, Xiaolianzhuang, on the east.
