Our guide Cris was fantastic. As for the floating market, it was exactly what we expected, without any major surprises. It's mostly tourist boats, but overall it's a pleasant experience. You get a glimpse of how some of the vendors live on their boats, and it really puts things into perspective. We loved the mentality, the camaraderie of the locals, and especially their strong sense of family. It's definitely worth seeing.

We absolutely loved the floating markets in can tho and would definitely recommend for anyone that is near can tho or Ho Chi Minh. The tour guide took us down the river and to a bunch of different boats selling food and stores on the river. We opted for a shorter tour that was around 3 hours, starting our tour around 6am and thought it was the perfect amount of time to see the markets without spending too much time on the river. The experience was very cultural and definitely a must see for anyone traveling to this area.


