Reviews: Iceland Secret Lagoon Admission Ticket

A fantastic place – the old hot pool is framed by natural hot, bubbling, and steaming springs, bordered by moss. You can admire it all from the well-maintained path, protected behind rope barriers, or from the large pool itself. Besides the natural stone pool with its pebble bottom, there are two smaller whirlpools and a cold plunge pool (the only drawback here is the very deep entry – an additional step would be great). The changing rooms and showers are excellent – there are toiletries, towel racks, and free lockers. You can also use a hairdryer, although it only blows cool air. The indoor café is very cozy and inviting, so you'll happily spend another half hour there, giving you time to dry off. I also thought it was great that you can have your phone sealed in waterproof film – so you can take some snapshots for your holiday album without worry.

I had planned out an entire week of driving ourselves to where we wanted to go. After a bad day with car issues, we decided to let someone else drive for one day. Thank goodness, we got Andres! With humor, personal stories of growing up in Iceland, and a deep well of knowledge of history and science, Andres led us on a 9-hour tour of Golden Circle. We got the major spots, as it were and the not-so-Secret Lagoon, but we also got great stories, fun jokes (if you are ever lost in an Icelandic forest, just stand up), and nearly personal service, as there were only 8 of us that day. We even stopped and fed horses and petted/scratched them. Thankfully, another guide gave me hand sanitizer. Lunch at Geysir Glima was pretty good! Fresh food, including an amazing tomatoe (sic) soup! If you have a chance, get Andres to guide you! And if you have a choice, Blue Lagoon is WAY better than Secret Lagoon, but doing both is even better than having to choose.

Our trip was with Gunna. She was an excellent guide full of information on the area. We enjoyed all the stops. There were plenty of places to grab a coffee and bite to eat. Would highly recommend this trip In winter take spikes/crampons as many areas were very slippy with ice.
Reviews: Reykjavík: Glacier Snowmobile and Hot Springs with Pickup

Picked up from the front door of the hotel, lots of sights on the way to the snowmobiling. The guide was quick witted and very informative about the history of Iceland, the glaciers and hot springs. Unbelievably views on the glacier and the hot spring topped it all of. Incredible bang for your buck would recommend.
