was great, half hour in museum of Africa seeing mosaics left from the roman empire, great preservation of history, Colosseum was very impressive and easy to manoeuvre around, guide was very very knowledgeable and happy to share any information he had about the history of the Colosseum and El Jem, would recommend to people who like a bit of history

The tour guide, Professor Wassim, was very friendly and spoke perfectly understandable English. He seemed genuinely eager to please everyone. He speaks many languages. Of course, he only gave a superficial overview, but that was necessary with this group, as most of us unfortunately lacked a deeper interest. Lunch was a small buffet at a hotel. Aside from the usual tourist stop to sell us carpets, everything was very interesting. The guide justified this stop by explaining that (wait for it!) TUI was the tour operator. The time spent in the Medina of Kairouan was far too short. Just think of all the things we could have done there instead of listening to the lecture about carpets! There were also many nicer things to buy in the city. A real shame. The final reason I'm only giving 3 stars instead of 4 is the price. €84 for this excursion is simply far too expensive.
