There was nothing wrong with the itinerary, lunch and tour guide, but the attractions in Hue were really lacking. The Imperial City was not even a poor man's version of the Forbidden City. Maybe Vietnam is just a country of this size.

It was a long day trip from Hue, but both Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave were very worthwhile, and the tour guide was very kind. There are other cave tours available, so I would definitely use them if I come back.

They organized our train from Hue and even though they were not with us physically they were guiding us through the whole trip, they were writing us while we were traveling and taking the train at 3:34am. We felt really well taken care of. Arriving to the train station in Dong Hoi they picked us up and we started to explore the caves with a great guide, our lunch was very authentic and we explored the second cave. Then we went to the travel agency back and they were already waiting for us with a bus they organized to take us back to hue! The organization and trip were great !!!!!


