You really get immersed in the traditions and history, and they make you feel a warmth and kindness that’s truly unmatched. Every food stop is an opportunity to explore, be surprised, and enjoy an incredible variety of flavors and textures that, as a tourist, you probably wouldn’t discover on your own — especially not on your first visit. So yes, it’s absolutely worth it. Oh! And you don’t have to worry about documenting everything — they do an amazing job and share everything with you shortly after the tour ends. Khaled was a passionate and knowledgeable guide who shared with us the history of Bahrain and the early days of Pearling, The houses that we saw which have been converted to museums were amazing. We especially enjoyed seeing vision of women weaving the gold braiding onto the clothes and finished examples. Truly a lost art. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in the early days of Bahrain and how people lived and worked. Thank you Khaled
