Reviews: 1-day tour to Scottish Highlands, Glen Coe + Loch Ness with Edinburgh round-trip
Guest User2026-10-31
The A28 highway truly lives up to its reputation; the scenery along the way is breathtaking, and we even saw Scottish cattle. Although it was an English-language tour, there were Chinese customer service representatives available throughout the trip, which was excellent.

Reviews: Glen Coe, Scottish Highlands, UK + Harry Potter filming locations 1-day tour, round-trip from Edinburgh

① After joining, I saw that the tour was actually led by Timbubush, a well-established company with nearly 30 years of experience, making it quite mature. Our driver, Jamie, was fantastic! I had checked the official website beforehand and found that there were only two trains running after September 25th, so I was already expecting to miss it. But to my great surprise, he made it possible! Of course, he drove well and gave excellent commentary—I learned many interesting stories and they frequently stopped to take pictures of the scenery. (Please pass on a five-star review and thank you!) ② We encountered a traffic jam. Although the tour was supposed to have a minimum of 15 people and a maximum of 53, only about 16 or 17 people participated on the day of the tour, which was great! ③ The official signs for the train must have a reason. The second time I climbed up and followed the group down a different route (picture 7) to see the train, but personally, I felt the view wasn't as good as the first time (picture 6) (I didn't have time to climb back up). Anyway, I only saw the afternoon train engine, haha.

Reviews: From Edinburgh: Scottish Highlands Tour with Whisky Tasting
Guest User2026-10-25
What a wonderful tour, together with our guide and driver, Brian. Thanks to the small group (maximum 16 people), it was cozy and intimate. First, we visited Dunkeld Cathedral, a very beautiful park. Afterwards, we viewed the Black Linn waterfall and Ossian's Hall via a walk through a beautiful forest and along a fast-flowing river. From there, we went to Pitlochry, where we had a delicious lunch at The Old Mill Inn, also a beautiful location with the waterwheel outside. Next, we enjoyed a stunning view at Queen's Viewpoint. To top it all off, we went to Dewar's Distillery, where we watched a video presentation. Then (unfortunately) we had our own way through the museum to finally enjoy a wonderful tasting of three delicious whiskies. Brian was truly a perfect guide; he knew a lot to tell us along the way and steered us through everything quickly and smoothly. We also enjoyed the misty views and beautiful mountains and valleys along the way.
