Although the drive from Shanghai was quite long, the beautiful scenery instantly lifted our spirits upon arrival. The hot spring facilities were also unique, with both indoor and outdoor pools. However, it was rather cold, so we didn't soak in the outdoor pools for long before heading indoors. The view was even better when we were soaking in the outdoor hot springs at sunset… Skiing wasn't a major activity, but it fulfilled the kids' wish. The only downside was that you have to buy a ticket for the ski resort. Although there was a discount when buying tickets through Ctrip, the other attractions within the resort were just average, so it still felt a bit pricey…

The hotel and flight were great, and the trip itself was smooth. However, the day trip was generally okay, but I was extremely dissatisfied with Phi Phi Island. The itinerary was absolutely awful! We left the hotel early in the morning, stayed at the pier until noon, and then went to eat. The snorkeling time was less than two hours in total, and that was in two different locations. We basically spent all our time on the boat and at the pier – it was incredibly frustrating! I hope Ctrip can find better partners to improve customer satisfaction with their trips!
