Approaching closer, you discover that the Yellow River is abruptly constricted by the towering mountains on both sides, plunging with overwhelming force into the 30-meter-deep Dragon's Gorge. Yellow waves churn, water mist rises skyward, and under the sunlight, a rainbow can be seen spanning the falls—a spectacle so magnificent it leaves you speechless! Standing on the viewing platform, letting the mist soak your clothes, the roar of the Yellow River fills your ears, and before your eyes lies the majestic power of "the Yellow River's waters coming from the heavens"—at that moment, you truly understand what it means to be a "symbol of national spirit." If you have enough time, you must descend to the Dragon Cave for a closer experience—looking up from below, the rushing river resembles a golden dragon cascading down; the dual impact of sight and sound is unforgettable. Beyond the breathtaking natural scenery, the exhibits on Yellow River culture within the scenic area are also very meaningful, evoking the millennia-long accumulation of Chinese civilization on this land. The only things to note are that spring and autumn offer the most stable water levels and scenery; summer's rains may cause excessive fog that obstructs visibility, and while winter offers spectacular icefalls, it can be quite cold.

Anonymous userBuying tickets at the attraction is very convenient. The parking lot is large and easy to park in, and it's very close to the ticket gate. You can take a bus to the waterfall entrance, which saves a lot of time. After getting off the bus, it's just a few minutes' walk to the waterfall. It's spectacular and worth seeing.

温智翔Located atop Phoenix Mountain northwest of Xixian County, Linfen Xiaoxitian boasts numerous tourist attractions and delightful discoveries. Its architecture is compact, built into the mountainside, with two-thirds of the halls being double-layered structures, creating a harmonious interplay between upper and lower courtyards. The Mahavira Hall is the highlight, its interior adorned with exquisite suspended sculptures. These sculptures, themed around the "Western Paradise" of Pure Land Buddhism, utilize a wood-framed clay suspension sculpting technique, seamlessly blending religious culture and philosophical thought into a unified whole. The craftsmanship is superb, the figures lifelike, and they possess immense artistic value. Xiaoxitian also preserves the Yongle Northern Canon, a collection of 676 cases and 6752 volumes bestowed by Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty in the 26th year of his reign. Covering the Tripitaka (Sutra, Vinaya, and Abhidharma), it serves as historical evidence of the Sinicization of Buddhism. Furthermore, the scenic area's natural landscape is exceptionally beautiful. Phoenix Mountain features overlapping peaks, ancient cypress trees shading red walls, and swirling mists, creating a scene reminiscent of a fairyland. The area surrounding the scenic spot also boasts a unique rural atmosphere and hospitable residents, allowing visitors to experience a distinctive cultural charm.

洪虹We took a sightseeing bus from the Lower Temple to the Upper Temple. The first thing that caught our eye upon disembarking was the shimmering glazed tiles of the Flying Rainbow Pagoda. The current pagoda was built in the sixth year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1527), and glazed tiles were added to the pagoda in the second year of the Tianqi reign of the Ming Dynasty (1622). It is the "world's tallest multicolored glazed pagoda." With Ming Dynasty blue bricks as its base, the yellow, green, and blue glazed tiles, despite centuries of weathering, remain vibrant. The 13-story octagonal pagoda gradually narrows, and the glazed components on each level are different, each layer unique, so exquisitely crafted that it's impossible to look away.
4.7/5Anonymous userMount Hua is known for its precipitousness and beautiful scenery. On a sunny day, the feeling of riding the cable car through the cliffs is exhilarating. You can encounter all sorts of people and scenery along the way. I chose a relatively energy-saving method and spent most of the day hiking, stopping and looking around. It was a great experience. I would like to try hiking at night sometime.

DRY20070205The Wang Family Compound—a magnificent 250,000-square-meter mansion built over 300 years, boasting 345 well-arranged courtyards. Constructed by the local Wang family, it includes five alleys, six fortified courtyards, and a main street, covering an area more than 100,000 square meters larger than the Forbidden City. It is hailed as the "Folk Palace of China" and is renowned as the "Number One Residence of Chinese Folk Customs." Off-season admission is 30 yuan per person, quite cost-effective. The only drawback is its distance from Pingyao Ancient City; the road from Pingyao to the Wang Family Compound is dirty, dusty, and mountainous, becoming even dirtier, darker, and more difficult to traverse on snowy days.

4.3/5Anonymous userI entered Yingtian Gate at 3 PM, then went to Mingtang and Tiantang, followed by Jiuzhou Pond. The lights came on around 5:30 PM. I visited all the floors, and arrived at Jiuzhou Pond around 6:15 PM. I climbed up to Yaoguang Hall, which was still lit up – very nice!

lin***ieThe park is very large and has a Han and Tang Dynasty style. The night views of Mingtang Paradise and Yingtian Gate are charming, and the Yingtian Gate light show is worth seeing. The martial arts field experience project at Jiuzhou Pond has a good design and is suitable for going at night. It is too hot during the day.
