The Atomic Bomb Dome is a famous building in Hiroshima, a witness to the atomic bombing. Its reinforced concrete frame and exterior walls survived the subsequent fire and became a memorial today. The Atomic Bomb Dome is not only part of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, but also a profound reflection on that brutal history.

The Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima, Japan, enshrines Ichikishimahime, Tashinhime, and Tatsukihime, who are revered as the Three Munakata Goddesses. The Three Munakata Goddesses are worshipped as the guardians of the sea, safe sailing, good luck, and the fulfillment of wishes. The shrine is famous for its unique architectural beauty and superb palace-style architectural skills. It was first built in 593 and later rebuilt in 1168 by the powerful Taira no Kiyomori of the time, and has been preserved to this day. The unique configuration that stands out in the sea and the contrast with the beautiful mountains behind it reflect the ambition and power of Kiyomori. With the "main shrine" (main hall) as the center, several shrines are arranged around it, and there are also Noh theater stages, music halls, halls, etc. in between. The buildings are connected by a 300-meter-long corridor, forming a seamless whole. The bright red color of the shrine and the large torii gate is said to ward off evil spirits. The entire building is also painted with vermilion lacquer for corrosion prevention.

Get a direct understanding of the scene of the atomic bomb explosion at that time. 140,000 people's lives were devoured by the war. No war! I wish the world peace! Everyone is happy! There are many tourists visiting here, especially foreigners. It is the place with the most tourists in Hiroshima.

The big five-story tower (the Keep) is actually a museum. It's all about samurai history and how the city was run way back when. The exhibits are easy to follow and they’ve got some legit-looking old armor and swords. The Absolute Best Bit: Hands-On Fun!My favorite part is the interactive floor on the way up! This is where you can live out your samurai dreams. You can try on a crazy helmet or a piece of armor, but the real highlight is getting to lift a replica katana! It's surprisingly heavy, and it gives you a whole new respect for the samurai. Great picture moment, too!And once you get to the top, the views are amazing. You get a perfect look at the modern city a beautiful mix of the old history below and the new skyline all around. Totally worth the small entrance fee!

You definitely should check out the Orizuru Tower; it's right next to the Atomic Bomb Dome. The whole place is about peace, which the paper crane symbolizes, and it’s a quick, fun way to see the city. The absolute best part is going straight up to the open-air rooftop deck, called "Hiroshima Hills." Since it has no glass, you can really feel the city while you get the best, close-up look down at the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Peace Park. Try to go for sunset it’s amazing, and on a clear day, you can even see Miyajima! While you're there, head to the 12th floor to fold your own origami crane. It's super easy, and once it's finished, you drop it into the huge 50-meter glass "Orizuru Wall." Seeing all those thousands of cranes packed together is really cool and represents a global wish for peace. Plus, the staff are super friendly and will often offer to take your photo for you!

The hotel we stayed in was right next to the Shimanami Kaido, and the window of the room faced the unbeatable sea view. It was a very beautiful place. The sea water was particularly clear. From a distance, it looked azure blue, with the sea and sky blending into one. To be honest, the sea view in China really can't be compared.
