Even on a weekday, it was quite crowded. The newly opened Yiliang Pavilion had visitor limits, and I queued for almost an hour. The scenery in the garden is undeniably beautiful. Take a stroll, and if you have time, hire a guide to gain a deeper understanding of the history and various landscapes. A place worth visiting repeatedly.

Lion Grove Garden, located on Yuanlin Road, Gusu District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is one of the four famous gardens of Suzhou. It is a representative of Yuan Dynasty gardens and also a representative of Suzhou's classical gardens. Lion Grove Garden was built in the second year of the Zhizheng era of the Yuan Dynasty by the disciples of Zen Master Tianru for his sake.

Tiger Hill, originally called Haiyong Mountain, is an ancient island formed by a volcano. King Helü of Wu was buried here, and the name "Tiger Hill" comes from the legend of a white tiger crouching over his tomb. A temple was built here starting in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and the Tiger Hill Pagoda was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. After Bai Juyi built the Seven-Mile Shantang (a scenic area), it became an even more famous tourist destination.

The garden is exquisitely laid out, with a staggered layout. There are various pine bonsai trees, all beautifully pruned. The Taihu stones are of different shapes. The maple leaves are red now, displaying a rich variety of colors, including red, yellow, and green, which are very pleasing to the eye.

The Master of the Nets Garden is an exquisitely crafted small garden, and it also has a connection with Zhang Daqian. Zhang Daqian and his friends kept a tiger in the garden and often painted there. Compared to the Humble Administrator's Garden, the landscaping in the Master of the Nets Garden is more delicate and refined, especially the views through the empty windows and the lake rocks, which are varied in shape.

Canglang Pavilion, located in the south of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is the oldest garden in Suzhou. Canglang Pavilion is renowned for its borrowed scenery. Before even entering the garden gate, a pond of green water surrounds the outside. Inside, the main feature is the rockery, with the Canglang Stone Pavilion perched atop an earthen hill. A pond is carved at the foot of the hill, and winding covered corridors connect the landscape, with latticed windows in the flower walls offering views from both sides.

Couple's Garden, a world-renowned gem, is hidden within the Xiangmen Gate of Suzhou. Surrounded by water on three sides and connected to the city by a single path, it rests against the city moat to the east, a place where the wind and energy converge, its layout is exceptionally auspicious. Sitting under the corridor of the East Garden, one can see the uniquely shaped rocks within the garden and the verdant scenery outside the city like a screen, the inner and outer worlds reflecting each other, truly a delightful sight.

The garden is small yet exquisite, a truly delightful place. In the early morning, when few people are around, the sunlight shines down, making the ginkgo trees particularly beautiful; some are over 400 years old. The ancients meticulously planned the pavilions, terraces, waterside pavilions, and flower rooms. The lady of the house gets up early, takes a stroll, has breakfast, rests for a while, and then enjoys afternoon tea. At dusk, she wanders through the garden and along the lake, has dinner, and then it's dark. The garden is so vast, encompassing all four seasons; no wonder she rarely leaves the grounds!

The place is small, winding through a narrow alley; you might not even find it without navigation. The environment inside is quite nice, but because it was the weekend and the weather was good, many people were out for a stroll, so even this less-known spot was packed. There were people taking wedding photos, people having artistic portraits, and groups of older women enjoying themselves. But if you can't avoid the crowds, just blend in. Seeing their bright smiles is a kind of scenery in itself.

It is an old academy. When you walk in, you feel that the view is very broad, but it is not as exquisite and beautiful as private gardens such as the Humble Administrator's Garden. Ke Garden is just opposite the Canglang Pavilion. Because I visited the Canglang Pavilion, I visited Ke Garden by the way.
