Overall, it was a good experience. The Harmony cruise ship was probably the best for the Three Gorges Dam tour. The itinerary was well-designed; we boarded at the passenger terminal, first passing the Gezhouba Dam to experience the rising water level, then the Three Gorges Dam to experience the ship lift. Along the way, we passed classic scenic spots like the Xiling Gorge and the Three Gorges Family. The overall route was well-designed. After visiting the Three Gorges Dam, we returned by bus. The only drawback was that this VIP tour was served in a regular 45-seat bus, and the bus was in poor condition and not very clean. Hopefully, they can improve the related services.

The Qingjiang Gallery is absolutely stunning! We originally planned to take Route A, which involves more boating and less walking, but we arrived late and missed the 11:30 AM boat. Not wanting to wait another hour, we opted for Route B – walking first, then taking the boat. The weather was fantastic! Walking along the mountain boardwalk, we enjoyed the sunshine and beautiful scenery, with the occasional fragrance of winter plum blossoms in the fresh air – it was breathtaking! We walked 3.9 kilometers to the final pier before boarding the boat. I highly recommend Route B for those with the stamina, followed by the boat ride, to fully appreciate the beauty of the Qingjiang Gallery from multiple angles.

As the ship entered the Three Gorges, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. We sailed along the Yangtze River, enjoying the scenery along the way. After disembarking, we entered the Three Gorges Family area. The river water was a beautiful mix of emerald green and deep blue, accompanied by the melodious sound of flutes. Small boats drifted by, and women stood on the bows of the boats holding paper umbrellas. We witnessed Tujia weddings and other enthusiastic performances, truly experiencing the scenery and hospitality of the Three Gorges Family area.

Climbing Yueyang Tower, one truly understands that the phrase "embracing distant mountains and swallowing the Yangtze River" is no exaggeration. The ancient tower, with its intricate mortise and tenon joints and flying eaves, reflects the misty waves of Dongting Lake through its red walls, creating a picturesque scene of "shimmering light and leaping gold." The couplets along the corridors encapsulate a thousand years of cultural heritage, and the spirit of "worrying about joys and sorrows" echoes with the sound of the waves. At night, the tower is ablaze with lights, and the integration of culture and tourism gives this thousand-year-old landmark a new lease on life—a cultural feast where both scenery and spirit are unparalleled. The weather was great, perfect for taking photos.

Tang City is definitely worth a visit. Be sure to change into a different costume for a more immersive experience. Buying tickets on Ctrip is a great deal, much cheaper than buying them at the store. I recommend buying them in advance on Ctrip; you can enter the park simply by scanning your ID card.

The scenery deep within Wolong after getting off the shuttle bus is quite nice, especially in autumn. However, if you don't have enough energy or time, there's no need to climb Tenglong Pavilion. The scenery is just average, it's tiring, and it takes about an hour to get there and back.

To be honest, I hesitated before going to Huanglong Cave, worried it might be a rip-off, but after going, I felt it was totally worth it. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The whole visit takes about two and a half to three hours. There weren't many tourists at Huanglong Cave, mainly because there aren't many other things to spend money on, so tour groups don't like to come. But with fewer tourists, the experience is truly much better. It's definitely a hidden gem of a tourist destination.
