Unable to get a reservation at the Nanjing Museum, I impulsively bought tickets for the Nanjing Museum online (only then did I realize that Nanjing has a museum and a museum, which are not the same thing). The architectural style is that of a Confucian temple, and the exhibitions are worth seeing; although they lack grandeur, they are unique.

Well, I feel it has some significance. Maybe it's because I've been to too many museums, and I feel like there are a lot of similar things. I'll go to other places tomorrow and see what I can learn.

Designed by academicians from both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, this museum embodies profound cultural, historical, and architectural elements. Its design, reminiscent of a bonsai or bonsai tree, makes it a striking addition to the city. It primarily introduces the historical evolution and system of the Jiangning Imperial Textile Bureau, the history of Cao Xueqin's family, the exquisite craftsmanship and works of brocade weaving, and showcases many artistic techniques from *Dream of the Red Chamber*. It's very informative. There's also a Chinese cheongsam museum upstairs, which is also worth a visit.

This museum was truly a hidden gem, discovered by chance. While its collection may not be as extensive as the Nanjing Museum's, its exhibition layout and lighting are absolutely stunning! Plus, it was less crowded and quiet, making for a wonderful visitor experience! It's incredibly photogenic, and I'll definitely bring my kids back.

Hongshan Zoo in late autumn is definitely worth a visit! This time, I also made sure to check out the newly opened African enclosure, which was incredibly enjoyable. Perhaps due to the chilly weather, the gorillas weren't quite used to it yet, all curled up in fluffy balls, either sunbathing on their perches or taking a nap in a corner. Their憨厚 (honest and simple) and lazy appearance was incredibly soothing to watch. Besides the African enclosure, I didn't miss the little guys I'd been longing to see. Timon's underground tunnel was a fantastic experience! Crawling through the tunnel and looking at the world through the glass, I could see them from Timon's perspective, watching their round bodies hopping and leaping across the earthen slopes in search of food—their lively antics were endlessly fascinating. The capybaras were as serene as ever, leisurely basking in the sun on the grass, radiating a peaceful and serene energy that instantly soothed all my anxieties. The monkey enclosure was even more lively! These little guys are hidden rowing pros! Several monkeys swayed gently in their small boat, while others playfully wrestled and scrambled for food on the shore, their lively antics making you smile. The park in late autumn is even more beautiful, like an oil painting. Golden leaves carpet the forest paths, and even the air smells refreshingly clean. When you get tired, find a bench to sit on, listen to the birdsong and insect chirps, and watch the animals play freely—it's so relaxing! Hongshan always brings new surprises every time I visit; I definitely want to come back again!

There weren't many tourists when I visited, and the park was very beautiful. Climbing to the pagoda atop the mountain offers a panoramic view of the riverside scenery. The park also features cultural elements related to Li Bai. Overall, it's a great place for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The Nanjing Museum effectively functions as the Jiangsu Provincial Museum. It is one of the earliest museums established in China, comprising a history hall, an art hall, a special exhibition hall, a digital hall, a Republican era hall, and an intangible cultural heritage hall. Admission is free and by reservation only; audio guides are available for a fee. The exhibition showcasing the Republican era is quite unique and unlike any other provincial museum I've seen.

The red maple leaves in the North Garden of the park are at their best from mid-November to December, making it one of Nanjing's most popular autumn foliage viewing spots, comparable to those at Qixia Mountain. Unfortunately, I arrived a few days too late; most of the red maple leaves had already fallen, leaving only a few trees, but they were still very beautiful. I'll come back tomorrow if I have time.

Zhongshan Scenic Area combines nature and culture. The Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is solemn and ancient, with lifelike stone statues standing silently along the Sacred Way; the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is magnificent, and climbing to the top offers panoramic views of Nanjing. The Wutong Avenue stretches with lush greenery, and Linggu Temple is serene and tranquil. The misty rain of the Six Dynasties and the turbulent history of the Republic of China intertwine here, making it a must-visit scenic and cultural landscape in Nanjing.
