With a heart full of memories and anticipation, I embarked on my return journey. But I knew that this departure was only for a better encounter next time, for me to once again embrace the sea and have a romantic encounter with the seagulls.

CT Mcr BJMy family had a good time at the aquarium. Whilst it isn’t too large there is enough to see and do to keep you occupied for a couple of hours. The location is good as it is beside a decent swimming beach and there are rentable e-bikes too near by. I particularly found the whale shark impressive. The kids fed the sea turtles and we paid a little extra for the laser show which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. There also was a seal show which the kids enjoyed too. Overall I thought it was good value. My expectation was low so it was easy to be satisfied.

Anonymous userThe atmosphere at the 1892 Art Center was completely different from that of the museum; it was very unique, and I preferred the experience there—it felt like stepping into old Shanghai. I hadn't seen most of the wines there before, but I sampled a few popular ones and bought their signature Cabernet Gernischt and some delicious ice wine. I learned a lot about wine culture. A very rewarding experience!

lin***i3It is very suitable to bring children to experience it. The weather is hot and it is too tiring to walk by yourself. The air conditioning in the car is sufficient, and there is a tour guide to explain the legend of the name of Maotou Mountain. There are two viewing platforms where you can get off the car to take pictures. The morning trip ended perfectly.

300***88You can definitely see seagulls from the boat, but since they don't eat ham sausages, there's no need to prepare any; everyone basically just breaks them open and throws them into the air to feed them. The island is quite nice; the memorial hall is crowded, but the coffee shop has a beautiful ambiance with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the sea on two sides. However, the historical site is the Naval Headquarters, the office of the Beiyang Fleet, so don't forget to visit it.

青道满I picked it up on a weekend in early November. It wasn't crowded, the temperature was perfect, and it was very comfortable to stroll around. From feeding the animals at the entrance to leaving, I didn't have time to take pictures. You can sneak some in! 🤫 Saves a lot of money! 😁 The only downside is the non-motorized playground for kids. 😜 Free parking is such a great deal! Parking tip: Use the Jiajiayuan parking lot as your navigation. It's a short walk from the exit when you're tired. 😂
