休息的羽翼Wuzhen's East Gate is indeed less commercialized and more authentic; seeing the old houses is quite interesting. West Gate is relatively more exciting, with more crowds, especially at night. The Grand Theatre is beautiful, and the water curtain performance at Lingshuiju is unique. I checked out various popular restaurants; thankfully it was the off-season, so the queues weren't too long, and I ate my way through the area until I was full. This is a place worth visiting to experience a typical Jiangnan water town.

阿德里安王There weren't many people when I went. The ancient town still had the charm of a Jiangnan water town. The town was mostly filled with guesthouses, shops, and restaurants. The entrance fee was a bit expensive; personally, I didn't think it was worth the price.

爱旅行的仙仙女I've visited many ancient towns—Zhouzhuang, Jinxi, Nanxun, Wuzhen…to be honest, the scenery is all quite similar. But Puyuan Ancient Town is truly different. This modern ancient town, built over nine years, has its own unique charm and is definitely worth a visit. There's no fixed route for sightseeing; the town is quite large, so as long as you have the stamina, you're good to go. The key is that it's not crowded and the scenery is beautiful, making it impossible to stop taking photos. Every snapshot is a masterpiece! Just strolling around and snapping pictures is a wonderful experience. For families with children, the Water Street is a must-see. For photography enthusiasts, Fushan Temple, Shufang Zen Garden, and Xiangyun Pavilion are must-sees. It's especially beautiful this season. Once you go, you'll discover that Puyuan's design aesthetics are top-notch. Whether in terms of scale, detail, or scenery, it's an underrated ancient town. 👍

yimaoyeA very beautiful town, developed by the same developer as Wuzhen, boasts excellent cultural heritage and aesthetics. The antique-style buildings and waterways in the town are very well done. The background music features classical music, mainly cello and violin, with some jazz accompaniment. Walking through this "Chaozhou City of Music" feels like walking through a painting… The former residences of Chen Gelao, Xu Zhimo's soy sauce shop, and Principal Zheng all allow you to feel the local people's emphasis on education and the scholarly atmosphere. The only regret is the lack of a direct view of the tidal bore; the waves I saw weren't very large, but the natural scenery of the Qiantang River flowing upstream was indeed a pleasant surprise.

Anonymous userThe Halloween carnival was amazing! Parking was convenient, tickets were reasonably priced, and the chocolates inside were delicious 😋. I highly recommend going if there are any special events.

Anonymous userI've never seen such a desolate 4A-level tourist attraction, practically deserted, but the visitor center is incredibly well-built. It's a good place to experience the desolate beauty of dilapidated old houses covered in creepers. Photography enthusiasts can also create some great photos. It's a shame you can't enter the old houses, otherwise, horror games like ancient escape rooms wouldn't need set designs, and it would be really atmospheric.

M83***42The park boasts a wide selection of indoor and outdoor hot springs, with staff constantly replenishing clean towels and offering warm water. The locker rooms are fully stocked with skincare products and hairdryers, ensuring impeccable hygiene. When you're tired, head to the rest area, where cushy lounge chairs and complimentary fruit soothe your tiredness. The service, ambiance, and overall experience are impeccable, and I'm already planning a return visit!

SmadThere are East Lake in many cities in China. There is also an East Lake scenic spot in Pinghu City. The scenery of this place is also good. I happened to visit Pinghu, had a good meal in the old street, and then went here for a walk. I saw that the whole East Lake is quite large. There are many small attractions along the lake. You can spend a day here.

lydia_hongYanguan Ancient Town boasts a vast expanse of beautiful scenery, with highlights including the Yanguan Sea God Temple, Wang Guowei's former residence, and Chen Ge Lao's residence, three nationally protected cultural relics, as well as Jin Yong's study, decorated with fourteen classic martial arts novels. The town is still under expansion, and the outer riverside park, Guanchao Scenic Area, offers combined admission tickets.
