青青翠竹The Taizhou City Wall, known as the Great Wall of Jiangnan, was first built during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It played a crucial role in the Ming Dynasty's resistance against Japanese pirates, serving not only defensive but also flood control functions. The section from Lansheng Gate to Xingshan Gate is the most scenic, offering panoramic views of Taizhou City and a glimpse into the wall's formidable strength. From Xingshan Gate, you can explore Ziyang Street and Longxing Temple. Everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment is readily available.

The entire Yongjia landscape is beautiful, so spending tens of yuan to visit the academy isn't really worthwhile. There are guesthouses and restaurants inside the academy, and the prices aren't too expensive, so it's acceptable. Parking costs 10 yuan.

For example, although I'm over 70 and have a free entrance fee, I still have to pay 80 yuan to cross the glass walkway. My spouse, a few years younger than 70, bought a half-price ticket for 80 yuan and could cross the glass walkway for free. In effect, this creates an obstacle, making the cost of crossing the glass walkway no different for those aged 60-70. I suggest lowering the ticket price for seniors over 70, perhaps to ¥40, which would be more reasonable.
