兜兜小公主The Yellow Crane Tower is a must-see attraction in Wuhan. It's not too crowded on weekdays. I especially enjoy the view of the Yangtze River from the top; it's magnificent and definitely worth a visit.

Rubyyy-The museum is free, just need to make a reservation. We arrived an hour before closing time, so it was very rushed, but the advantage was that we didn't have to queue to see the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue; we could just walk in. Unfortunately, we missed the chime bell performance. The gold artifacts of King Liangzhuang were absolutely stunning. We also managed to buy the souvenirs we wanted before closing time!

D40***63Yunlong Ground Fissure is a rare "U"-shaped fissure in the world. The cliffs on both sides of Yunlong Ground Fissure are basically vertical, and the cross-section forms a "U" shape, which is extremely rare in the world! It is the only fissure in the world formed in different geological eras.

meetpeterpanWithout a cable car, Wudang Mountain is indeed tiring, but I made it! Slowly climbing up the Mingshen Path, my legs were already 30% worn out by the time I reached Chaotian Palace from Nanyan. The First, Second, and Third Heavenly Gates are quite close together. Finally, at 16:07, we reached the Golden Summit Area, only to find that the Taoist priest had locked the Golden Hall before 16:30. We felt incredibly helpless, having barely made it to the top. Thankfully, we were going to stay overnight on the Golden Summit, otherwise it would have been a real shame. I suggest aligning the Golden Summit's closing time with the sunset; for example, since the sunset was at 17:30 these past few days, the Golden Hall could have locked at 17:00, and the Golden Summit area could have closed at 17:25.

揉纸的猫The "Two Dams and One Gorge" VIP tour is a classic route full of experiences, offering both historical and natural beauty and a glimpse into the nation's industrial prowess. While pricey, it's well worth the cost, hence this detailed review and recommendation. We booked for December 10th, supposedly the last tour of the year, a bus-and-boat experience. A private car picked us up from the hotel, and we met at the Three Gorges Tourist Center before 9:00 AM. There were six of us in total, including the tour guide. The pre-booked Lantu bus was quite crowded, so our guide, Xiao Song, immediately contacted the dispatcher, and a large bus took us directly to the Three Gorges scenic area. After an hour's drive, we transferred to a smaller vehicle where a professional guide led us to the Engineering Museum. We viewed the dam from various locations: looking up at the Dam Closure Memorial Park, looking down from Tanziling, and at 185-degree eye level. The convenient pick-up and drop-off service ensured an efficient visit. Back at the Three Gorges Engineering Hotel, we had lunch. Since there were few of us, we enjoyed a set meal with Hubei cuisine, which was quite good. After lunch, we went to the dock to board the Xiling Gorge Harmony cruise ship. The ship was newly renovated and luxurious. The 4th floor was the VIP area, with fewer people and better views, and we even received a small gift. After a short nap in the cabin, the ship departed at 3 PM. The high gorges gave way to a placid lake, shrouded in mist; sailing through it felt like entering a fairyland. A dozen minutes later, we reached the ship lift, descending vertically 113 meters in about 40 minutes. Our guide, Xiao Liao, explained the engineering details and related knowledge throughout. Only inside the ship lift could one truly appreciate the sheer scale and difficulty of the Three Gorges Project. Around 4 PM, we left the reservoir area and entered the Xiling Gorge. The setting sun cast its golden rays, and the peaks rose majestically. The antique-style buildings of the Three Gorges Family Scenic Area and the vegetation and birds on both banks made one feel as if transported back in time; the bustling ships on the river and the modern residences on land brought one back to the present. Especially around 5:30 PM, the sky was like a palette of colors, a truly breathtaking sight. We had lunch at 6 PM, and half an hour later arrived at the Gezhouba Dam, descending 22 meters through Lock No. 3 in the night lights. Compared to the Three Gorges Dam ship lift, the experience was completely different – one was new, one old, one high, one low, and you could even touch the pebbles on the inner wall of the lock. Around 7 pm, the ship exited the lock and headed towards Yichang city. While Yichang's night view isn't as bustling as Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan, or Chongqing, it has its own unique charm and refinement. Standing at the bow, you could see the Fuchun Resort light show on the right bank and a modern cityscape on the left. Of course, the river breeze was quite chilly in December; coming a month earlier would have been much better. We disembarked around 8 pm, saying goodbye to our guide, Xiao Song, and our four companions. The trip lasted 11 hours, long but not tiring. The VIP members enjoyed a full day visiting the Three Gorges Dam scenic area, the Three Gorges Dam ship lift, the afternoon and sunset views of the Xiling Gorge, the distant view of the Three Gorges Family Scenic Area, the Gezhouba Dam ship lock, and the night view of Yichang city, perfectly connecting Yichang's core attractions with a diverse and captivating array of sights. Enjoy VIP transportation and cruise service, along with the warm and professional service of three tour guides. Lunch, dinner, and snacks/gifts are also included – a truly generous offer. I've written so much to record these wonderful memories and also to provide a reference for those who are undecided or unfamiliar with the concept. If you can accept the relatively high price of the VIP package, desire a comfortable and relaxed trip, and are interested in the Three Gorges Dam and natural landscapes, then it's definitely worth a five-star recommendation.

M25***27The driver was very enthusiastic and attentive during the tour, patiently explaining things to us and acting as both guide and photographer. It would have been even better if he could have been punctual. I'll contact you again if I don't have any friends coming next time.

盒子哥哥123I visited Shennongjia in December. Although it was the off-season and the scenery wasn't as stunning as in autumn and summer, I must say the Shennongjia Scenic Area was truly excellent. A 5-day, 6-attraction combo ticket for only 150 yuan was incredibly reasonable. The accommodations at Muyu and Dajiuhu were both good. The road to Shenlongding was icy and snowy, so I bought snow chains for the first time. I visited Shenlongtan, Guanmenshan, and Dajiuhu once each, but I visited Shenlongding three times because… it was simply too beautiful.

159***17Yichang is definitely a hidden gem of a tourist city in Hubei. During the May Day holiday, a road trip along the G348 Three Gorges Geological Highway offered breathtaking scenery all the way. The Three Gorges Family Scenic Area is an absolute must-see, with its magnificent gorges, clear waters, and the unique Tujia ethnic minority performances of the traditional wedding lament and boat tracker demonstrations. These live performances set against the backdrop of the mountains and rivers create a truly immersive experience! Highly recommended! 👍

M29***46It's a highlight of Enshi tourism, but unfortunately the journey is too long. It takes 6 hours to travel to and from Enshi city by bus, and 3 hours to visit the scenic spot. The entrance fee is also expensive, so it's not cost-effective unless you have a special fondness for that small boat.
