The restaurant is located in the ancient city of Segovia, Spain, and the ancient buildings are very historical! The restaurant is mainly Spanish cuisine, with local Spanish wines very delicious! The price is not expensive!

Good food and good deal. I liked most was Castellan soup and Segovian ponche cake. Broad was good. What I didn't like was that you were charged 1.5 for each bread and then they took them away before the afternoon almost entirely and almost without learning. Meeting the local chef during a vertical wine tasting while savouring the 4initial appetizers was extraordinary. The sommelier and the waitress were super. The same can be said about the dishes : inventive and full of taste. The bread spread : astonishing. 2 stars at least...

I truly respect the amount of work the chef puts into their dining experience. The dishes are works of art. Unfortunately the food was not satisfying. In fact, something in the 16 course meal made me physically sick later that day.In addition, we paired the dining experience with the recommended wine, but the wine was far too young and did not compliment the meal. I would only recommend Cepa 21 if the chef goes back to basics and focuses more on taste. Until then, I would not recommend Cepa 21.

Wine straight from the proprietor’s bodegas, lechazo lamb fresh from the herds of old Castille and other local treats arrive cheerily at your table. The adjacent clean, comfortable hotel and nearby towns along the fabled Duero offer travellers a restful stop in the land immortalized by some of Spain’s most notable poets and writers.
