Well, the Walter Francesco was awesome. Prices ok but a botte of wine was 18, and that is too much, but then they told me that is not correct and it's 20. The prices of the food is alittle high and the coperto of 2.50 pp i not normal. So, one and done, we will not be back.

Service and food are superb! Lovely dinner by the sea. Courses are generous. The carpaccio mix was adventurous with seafood we had not tasted before. The lobster and pasta was much more than expected. Half lobster and large amount of house made pasta. Oh, the seafood soup was divine! The ravioli are highly recommended, with the licorice subtle and a pleasant surprise. Only miss was the the shrimp cocktail. It is not what we expected and slightly odd. Shrimp would have been better uncovered because they’re so sweet on their own. Oh well, it did not take away from the overall experience. Desserts are world-class. The service is very on-point. We were attended to at the right time and right amount. Everyone pleasant and accommodating. Ambiance is a wonderful experience by the sea. It was very brightly lit inside (might want to dim it a bit) but fortunately we were seated outside. We were even blessed by lovely weather. It was a memorable experience!

We made a reservation for Christmas dinner at 7:30. We were traveling with two dogs, which most restaurants in Italy allow dogs inside, but I walked ahead to the restaurant first to make sure it was ok before we brought them in. There was a cat that ran in the door ahead of me so I told the gentleman we had a reservation but we have two dogs and one doesn’t like cats so maybe I should come back without them. He said the cat will leave and he put it outside and told me it was ok. I walked around the corner to my friend and dogs and we headed in where we were told we have to leave because the restaurant is too small to let us in with dogs. It was very dramatic they way they acted. The entire restaurant was staring like we did something wrong. I put them back in the hotel and we tried to find availability at another open restaurant with no luck. We reluctantly went back (where there was a group just inside the door with a dog) and were seated upstairs. The waitress asked before we even sat what we wanted. I ordered two red wines and asked for a menu. She said no menus due to Covid and asked again what we want. I said how am I supposed to know if I don’t know what you have? She said “pasta, meat….?” She had the most disgraceful rude attitude. The look on her face was pure disgust like we were somehow being rude asking what dishes they had. I speak Italian well but not as fast as a native obviously so when I was asking questions she would cut me off and try to guess what word was I was going to say next instead of letting me speak. We ordered one ravioli to share, she brought two. We ordered one steak to share, she said she understood this time, she brought two. The check was €68 for dry flavorless pasta (was supposed to be brown butter sage ravioli) and a decent (small but well cooked) steak with nothing else, and two house red wines. We paid €25 less for a full course meal with a bottle of wine at a delicious restaurant in the same area the night before.
