This is my must when looking for anything Chinese this restaurant not only has great food but the service to match. The Peking duck pancake are cut to order right at your table which is a sight to see. My preference when visiting this place is to order several entrees with a main usually consisting of the best spring rolls and amazing prawn dumplings with honey chicken and Singapore noodles. I recommend this to everyone I personal travel 10-15mins just to eat here, booking is a must.

Pine & Bamboo Peking Restaurant

This is a special chocolate bread, the chocolate inside can be praised to make the best, but this thing is too high in calories, so can not eat more, locals buy this directly as lunch.

Mark and the team at northshore cafe are fantastic. If you come for breakfast try the eggs Benedict and if your in for lunch try the winter set menu there are some great dishes. Always plenty of wine with an amazing view of the Brisbane river. Still one of Brisbane&#39;s little secret cafes

A lovely lunch catching up with a good friend. The food was delicious and we were able to have a banquet for four even though there was only three of us. Just removed one main dish from the choice. We haven&#39;t had Chinese cuisine for ages and were surprised at the menu not having our old stand-byes such as chow min etc swimming in veggies. Not sure we coped very well seeing others choose a live fish which was duly caught and taken away flopping around madly in a bucket; or the look of crabs tied up in a tank waiting to be cooked alive! But then again, some of us are a bit more sensitive than others. We don&#39;t mind the food once it&#39;s on the plate! Decor was typically stark Chinese and a lot of tables with no quiet nooks. Overall: service was excellent and very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the surroundings &#39;OK&#39;.

Beautiful food, casual and family friendly. The place was really busy when we visited (a good sign) however service prompt and friendly. As we left to pay our bill we noticed a majority of tables were having the Peking duck served with quite a theatrical preparation by the staff, and having read the reviews of this dish, were disappointed we didn&#39;t order it...next time!
