It has been some time since I went for dinner here so it was pleasant to note that the food quality has now reached new heights. Service is always very good which is nothing unusual for the Four Seasons Restaurants. We went for the Salad Buffet as it offered a very big variety of fresh products to choose from. Boiled shrimps were very tasty as well as the smoked salmon while the salads were freshly cut &amp; attractively displayed. Tried also the mushroom soup which tasted great &amp; was a very good way to start our meal. Decided to order the Sea Food Spaghetti which was delicious &amp; highly recommend it to anyone visiting this restaurant. The taste was excellent while they did not over do it with the butter &amp; garlic. Excellent choice! For main I had the Australian Beef Steak which was simply out of this world! Grilled to perfection while the dark sauce was very tasty too. It came with mashed potatoes which went perfect with it. Unfortunately both my daughter &amp; I were too full to go for a dessert so I missed the opportunity to check their quality! The prices are not cheap but the quality of the food &amp; the wonderful view of the Nile more than makes up for it. Definitely a place to visit for anyone who likes good Italian cuisine in a business like atmosphere.

My husband and I visited Bella mid-afternoon on the day of our anniversary. We had just returned to Cairo after a cruise on the Nile and did not have a reservation. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were impressed by the warmth of the staff and the elegant yet unpretentious environment and the beautiful view of the Nile. The menu is exceptional: beautifully prepared and healthy Italian fare with an extraordinary presentation. We ordered the LE240 price fixe luncheon, which included an appetizer, entree and dessert as well as delectable pizza (in lieu of bread). Our eggplant appetizer was worth a repeat visit alone--only to be matched by the delicately-prepared sole with an incredible melange of local vegetables and a delectable pistachio-merangue desert. The meal alone would have been great but there was more: shortly after asking our server to take a picture because it was our anniversary, a staff member prepared a special rose-petal flower arrangement for our table; at dessert time the staff presented us with a personalized &quot;Happy Anniversary&quot; dessert (amazing tiramisu); and as we were leaving, they gave me a bouquet of a dozen red roses with tulips and my husband a special cake. We are still reeling from such an experience of warmth and hospitality--extraordinary even in a culture that is warm and hospitable.

I had a busy morning that day and was supposed to meet my sister in Garden city to go for lunch. I was late and both were hungry so she suggested the Bella restaurant at the four seasons nearby her apartment. It was a great choice. The Cairo four Seasons Hotel at Nile Plaza is one of the newest Cairo hotels and probably the best. Our timing for the visit was good because the previous week the whole hotel was reserved for the visiting King of Saudi Arabia and his entourage. The Bella is an Italian restaurant located on the fourth level of the hotel [the hotel has three other formal restaurants, Egyptian, Moroccan and Chinese in addition to several bars]. As you exit the elevator at the restaurant level, you are greeted by a huge centre piece on a round table. A formal Ma&icirc;tre d&rsquo;h&ocirc;tel offers you a number of sitting choices. We chose an elegant table a bit away from the windows that run the whole length of the restaurant. If you come for a late lunch, you will be able to enjoy the sublime light of the afternoon. After choosing our drinks, we were offered a sampler of the Chef&rsquo;s special daily pastries that were delicious. We both chose a light meal as we were invited that evening to dinner with friends. My sister ordered the Pecorino Ravioli with wild mushroom sauce that looked and tasted very good. I chose the citreous risotto with asparagus, zucchini and bell peppers that was excellent. Even though we planned to eat lightly, we could not resist the deserts. My sister had the Cassata ice-cream and I had the tiramisu and coffee. When in Cairo, do not forget to taste the &ldquo;Turkish coffee&rdquo; at a reputable place. The coffee is ground with a little dry coriander which gives it a unique taste. This restaurant is of course quite expensive not only because it is located in the best hotel in town, but also because it is very good. If you have some time after a day of shopping or sightseeing, I think you will enjoy the excellent food and the sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere.

Well the restaurant has gorgeous view, but you need to make reservation in advance as only 50% of the tables offer that view. Now the food I had was pasta, and it was delicious. Personnel super professional and kept an eye on a good service all the time. Great desert and coffee at the end. The price is high, but then it is located in Four Seasons Hotel!!! Restaurant is tidy and very clean.
