Wat Mahathat Worawihan 🛕 An ancient temple in the heart of Ratchaburi city, known locally as "Wat Na Phra That," showcases art from the Dvaravati period, continuing with Khmer and Ayutthaya influences. Its highlight is the approximately 24-meter-high main prang (tower) and ancient Buddha images within the temple. Perfect for history buffs. (Tourism Authority of Thailand) 2. Khao Ngam Stone Park ⛰️🌿 A natural landmark near the city. Its highlight isn't just the limestone mountain views, but also the caves containing Buddha images carved into the walls and Dvaravati-era art. It offers both nature and archaeology in one location. Damnoen Saduak Floating Market 🛶🍜 Ratchaburi's famous floating market features boats selling fruits, food, and snacks along the canals. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recommends visiting the market between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM because the boats and shops are more lively in the morning. Oh Poi Market 🌿🏡 A morning market along the Phachi River in Suan Phueng District, located in a Thai-Karen community. Its charm lies in its local food, community products, and natural atmosphere along the stream. Ideal for those who want to see Suan Phueng from a community perspective rather than cafes or resorts. (Tourism Authority of Thailand) 5. Kao Chon Waterfall or Nine-Tier Waterfall 💦🌳 A natural waterfall in Suan Phueng with nine tiers. It's about a 500-meter walk from the parking lot to the bottom tier. And if you want to reach the top, the distance is approximately 2 kilometers, taking about 2-3 hours. The route from level 6 upwards is quite steep (Tourism Authority of Thailand). ⚠️ If you plan to go to level 9, the TAT recommends starting no later than 12:00 PM and returning before 4:00 PM.
