Mid City Yacht Club

We had breakfast at Wakin&#39; Bakin&#39; which was a short walk from the Hampton Inn Garden District Hotel where we stayed. Taja was helpful and patient when we took our time ordering and had questions about the menu.

My first visit was met with good pizza and lackluster and apathetic service. It wasn&#39;t even close to busy, as there were maybe 3 other tables with couples seated. That said on the service, the pizza was excellent. Traditionally prepared and cooked thin crust (NY style) with plenty of pepperoni on it. Will give it another try.

Zero complaints. Everything at Ralph&#39;s on the Park was great, except for its name. It should be Ralph&#39;s on-the-Park but that&#39;s just me being a grammarian. I particularly liked that their house sparkling wine was, in fact, a real French champagne.
