I&#39;ve been going to Lac Viet Bistro for years and it&#39;s one of the best Viet restaurants in Central Florida. All tier food is really good but a stand out is the green Papaya salad- I like mine with Conch and their Bun and pho is really good. They also have a really nice selection of tasty vegetarian options with seitan as a protein. The restaurant ambiance is the best out of all the local Viet restaurants. They have tastefully decorated the walls with beautiful original art painted by a very talented Viet artist. They also have a nice outside area to eat when it&#39;s not too hot outside.

Was in the area and googled and this is what we found. Came on a Sunday for lunch, no wait at all. Got the basic Korean food. Not bad, not like home cooked Korean food but close. Definitely would come back again.

Drove by it and took a chance. First good sign: no Buffett! There is a Dim sum going on in addition to the regular menu. We tried the lunch menu- chicken with garlic sauce for me and General Tsao&#39;s for my husband. The meal included soup and fried rice. Portions were huge! Will be back for the dim sum and take out for sure. And with two iced teas the total before tip was $18.10 for two.

I love this place! They are all so nice, the food is clean and tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. It is rather quaint and humble but the point of the restaurant is to impress you with the food not looks. The owner is a sweet old man who is also a monk (I asked). He gave me nice cooking tips for vietnamese food. They make it all fresh for each customer so it may take a bit longer than Chipotle&#39;s but then the money is not corporate (privately owned franchises) aside from promoting veganism which is already a reason to support the business. The only thing I would change would be the large number of dishes with sugar in the recipe. They use brown sugar but still sugar... I usually ask for mine without of low sugar (some dishes require sugar). But then a whole lot less sugar than you eat in your lunch at Panera

I&#39;ve eaten at this restaurant for the past ten years and have always been pleased with food quality, value and service. IMHO, it is Orlando&#39;s best Vietnamese restaurant, catering mostly to locals. Many of their clients are Vietnamese families, which I consider a good sign. Try the summer rolls (shrimp and grilled pork) and any dish with lemongrass seasoning. The mango and papaya salads are excellent, too. Servers are attentive and very polite. The owner is usually on the premises - another good sign.

As a true Hanoian, coming here I didn&#39;t expect this Bun Cha to taste like anything that I have at home. However I was surprised. The presentation wasn&#39;t anything like what I would have in Hanoi. However, the grilled pork and the sauce flavor is on point! Very authentic flavor!
