Best Cafe VMFA

Saw the reviews about the service and I have to say that was not the case with our visit; service was great. And the food was fantastic! We had been there years ago and liked it and decided to go again. The menu was changed and included &ldquo;small plates&rdquo; of many pasta dishes and salads. This was perfect for us as we were traveling and did not want to leave with leftovers. I had pasta with eggplant and goat cheese, with a marinary sauce and it was delicious without being heavy, and just the right amount of food. Husband had a variation of spagetti carbonara with sausage and he raved about it. We split a salad with gorgonzola, everything was very fresh and tasty.
