Centum Business Hotel

The room was pretty good, but the sink wasn't great. It's not far from the subway, and dining downstairs is very convenient. There are plenty of malls, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. It's about a 500-meter walk to the Lotte and Shinsegae department stores.

A very bad experience. I booked a week in advance, only to find the price dropped before check-in. Luckily, Trip.com customer service helped resolve the issue, which I really appreciate. Even though the price dropped, I still checked in. First, the exterior of the building looks grand, but once inside, you realize it's three hotels combined. This one is the worst of the three, a business hotel that should really be called an inn. The room photos are deceptive; the information stated 20 square meters, but when you enter, it feels more like 12 square meters, comparable to a cheap Hong Kong hotel. Also, the bed had a strong formaldehyde smell. I reported it, but they told me to come back the next day. Honestly, being in a foreign country, I couldn't be bothered to argue with them. Please stop deceiving customers!

First off, the hotel's location is super convenient. It's only three subway stops from Haeundae Beach, and right downstairs, there are tons of eateries and a GS25 convenience store. An Olive Young is just a two to three-minute walk away. What's also great is that it's not far from the subway station (Centum City Station), and right next to it are two major department stores, Shinsegae and Lotte (they have a full range of brands, most luxury goods, and trendy cosmetics too). Both the subway and department stores are about a 10-minute walk away. However, the hotel room itself is a bit small. Maybe it was just our particular room, because when we saw the cleaning staff open some other rooms, they seemed pretty decent-sized. But for us personally, the room felt a bit cramped. As soon as you walked in, it was just the bed, and once we opened up two suitcases, the room felt even more squeezed. On the bright side, the bathroom size was reasonable, and showering wasn't cramped at all. Also, there are two hotels within the same building, and both have separate front desks in the lobby. We accidentally went to the wrong front desk when checking in. I personally feel like both hotels are probably similar in quality, even though we only stayed in one, they're in the same building so the quality should be consistent.

Facilities: Very good, a bit old but doesn't affect use. Remember to bring a power adapter! Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Good, there's a convenience store and a coffee shop downstairs. It's a 3-minute walk to Olive Young and a 10-minute walk to Shinsegae. Service: I was there for a concert, and the front desk gave me a small gift and allowed me to check in early for free.
