Atour Hotel, Nangre South Road, the Potala Palace, Lhasa

Every time I come to Lhasa, I love staying here. Sitting in the restaurant, enjoying a hearty breakfast, you can clearly see the Potala Palace. Atour Hotel's quality and service are my reasons for choosing it. It's very convenient to get to the Potala Palace, Barkhor Street, or catch the airport shuttle from the hotel. The front desk service is warm and they even gave me a small gift.

The room was great, equipped with an oxygen machine. The hotel staff were very helpful and patient, and they even provided complimentary breakfast. Parking was free, and there's a charging station behind the parking lot. It's also super convenient, just a 10-minute taxi ride to the Potala Palace.

The facilities here are excellent. The room was spotless, and the Atour mattress was incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and the excellent soundproofing. The hairdryer was powerful, which is a lifesaver for those of us with thick hair! The front desk staff were also very welcoming and helpful. As for breakfast, it was outstanding – a wide variety and delicious. They even have robots deliver takeout, which was super convenient. The laundry room was a huge plus; I could dry my clothes in just 20 minutes and wear them immediately. I'll definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know!

The front desk staff, both the men and women, were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. I booked a king-size room, and they gave me a free upgrade, which made me so happy. The service was exceptional. The room was also very clean and tidy, the bed was perfectly made, and the bedding was super comfortable. I really appreciated the excellent wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The hairdryer was particularly good, and the toiletries were high-quality and had a lovely scent. I really enjoyed my stay.

The room was tiny and cramped, making it feel very oppressive. The soundproofing was terrible; even with the windows closed, you could hear noises from the street and the hotel corridors. The bathroom and shower were extremely crowded! My experience was terrible; 634 yuan a night was a complete waste! Other Atour hotels are fine, but this one was a disaster!
