Whenever I come out for a concert, I love staying around this area...
Only those who have queued up for hours can truly understand the sheer relief of stepping right out of the subway station and straight into your hotel...
The G3 is right next door, but lately G3 has gotten too full of itself! The prices have hiked up way too much!!
So I decisively chose the STAY building right next to it!
There are 3 guesthouses/STAY properties in this single building.
Self check-in, super convenient!
They’ll send you the room number and password on the day of your check-in.
Just a heads-up: check-in is at 4 PM!
【Cleanliness】It's alright, at least visibly clean.
Acceptance varies from person to person though~
【Pros】
1. Self check-in and check-out. Since you get to know your room number in advance, can anyone even imagine the joy of ordering food delivery straight to your door while still sitting on the airport limousine bus?! Checking out is a breeze too—just scan a QR code to check out. There are also self-service luggage storage lockers downstairs! Absolutely awesome, love it!
2. Location. Nothing more needs to be said, all praise goes to Chungmuro Station!
Actually, there are quite a lot of hotels around here~
There's an elevator on the basement 1st floor (B1) of the subway exit, very convenient with luggage.
3. Equipped with a fridge, microwave, and induction cooker. This is an absolute lifesaver for people who never finish their takeout food!!!!!!
【Cons】
1. Elevators. As mentioned quite often in the reviews, the elevators are indeed hard to wait for, especially during the 10-11 AM check-out rush, which gets pretty annoying.
2. Air purifier noise. Only found out on the day of check-out that it could be turned off... I'm speechless... Honestly couldn't sleep because of this noise.
3. Water pressure is a bit lower than the adjacent G3, but totally bearable and okay.
All in all, aside from the rather frustrating elevator situation, it was a very smooth stay.
