Cendana Resort & Spa by Mahaputra

I have stayed at Cendana before however this time there were some challenges that were not present before. They now have very noisy neighbors who blast music till after midnight. Cendana management helped change my room to a location deeper inside so my last two nights were less noisy. Very grateful for it as my first night was bad. Very attentive staff and the views are great … location near the Ubud centre is very big advantage.

I stayed here for one night with a friend, and overall, we had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They kindly stored our luggage after check-out while we explored the area. The pool was clean, and free towels were provided, so there was no need to bring our own from the room. The room was also clean and came with complimentary bottled water. Breakfast was delicious, with several options to choose from. The views around the property were also beautiful. The only downsides were that the hot water pressure was weak, and my friend’s room had a toilet that didn’t flush properly, which was inconvenient. However, despite these issues, I would still love to stay here again. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would recommend this place to others.

The hotel was actually worth the price. The room was amazing. Staff was definitely very very nice. The only thing is there’s a lounge like 100m away from the hotel and they play live music all night. Good thing my partner and I are pretty tired when we get back so we sleep straight away. But if you’re a light sleeper probably not the best. However the location is VERY VERY convenient. 10-15 minutes walk to the markets and 15-20 minutes walk to the monkey Forrest.

I don't recommend this hotel for anyone. Old furniture no AC working, area not quite I think there is club nearby so the sound can be heard from the room all the night, no tissue.
