Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc

Breakfast was good with lots of choices. The price was budget-friendly. Room hygiene was so-so, and the facilities were a bit old. The air conditioning was sufficient, but the duvet was too stuffy, making me sweat every night in my sleep. The pool was okay. The beach scenery was beautiful, but the water quality wasn't great.

The lobby was really hot. The welcome drinks were given out randomly, not everyone got one. There was no water dispenser while waiting. In the pool, there was sunscreen floating in a corner. The hairdryer hadn't even been used, and it already had hair in it. In a different room that a friend was staying in, the bathroom drain was clogged. When staff checked, they found a lot of hair blocking the drain. We asked them to check the fridge because it wasn't cold, and they insisted that was its normal temperature. Only when we asked to switch rooms did they agree to replace the fridge. The new fridge's temperature was normal. We wasted a lot of time dealing with this and received no compensation. The breakfast had a good variety, but the taste was average and repetitive; it was the same for three days. The air conditioning in the restaurant was not very cool.

The pool is large and the beach bar has a great atmosphere. The room felt a little old, but it was spacious and comfortable. (I deducted one star for cleanliness because the bathroom curtain was dirty.) Despite that, I would still consider staying here again.

Itchy all night because of the ants, and my skin broke out.
