Agarwood Garden Resort Phu Quoc

I'm absolutely delighted with the people who run this place! You can really feel the love they have for their guests. And I got to drink matcha every day! So delicious.

This was our second stay at this hotel within a year. The staff here are incredibly kind and helpful; it genuinely feels like a home away from home. The grounds are very green and beautifully maintained. We never had any issues with hot water in the shower. The rooms are spotless, with excellent, new furnishings. The mattress was comfortable for sleeping, and the pool was very clean. It's a quick 5-minute walk to the beach. There are supermarkets, cafes, and fruit vendors nearby. We would definitely come back again. We had 10 wonderful days here. Plus, there's a mini-market at the hotel with prices comparable to other supermarkets, so you don't have to go far for essentials.

The villas are very cozy and have everything you need. We stayed for a week. Breakfasts were included, mostly soups and eggs. It was tasty. There's also a small main menu where you can order lunch or dinner and eat without leaving your room. When we ordered lunch, they gave us fruit. The staff is very helpful and assists with any issues. They never refused any request. No dangerous creatures in the room! Only geckos or snails might show up, and if you leave food out, ants will come. No cockroaches, which is perfect here. Location-wise: The beach is a 5-minute walk away, with amazing sunsets, and the beach itself is also good. Within walking distance, there are several streets with cafes, shops, and spas, offering both local and European cuisine. If you stay here and rent a scooter, it's convenient for traveling to both the south and north of the island. The only thing is, it's a bit far to the very south (where Khem beach and Sunset town are), so you might not go often, but you can definitely visit a couple of times. There's a night market about 20 minutes away by scooter with delicious seafood. Right by the hotel, there's its own mini-shop. The hotel has a pool, and the Wi-Fi is good; I was able to do video calls and download movies. Especially for the price, this hotel is fantastic! I recommend it 👍🏻

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent; the beach was within walking distance, and the night market, Starfish Beach, and an amusement park were all reachable within 30 minutes by scooter. You can rent a scooter near the accommodation. The dogs and cats were also adorable.

The service and the room were both great! The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. The nearest bus stop, Gân Ngã 3 đường vào Dinh bà, is actually quite a walk away, which was a bit unexpected. The only downside was the amount of mosquitoes in the room. I was bitten so much I couldn't sleep all night! Mosquito coils or bug spray are an absolute must!

The room was very clean and tidy. There were a few insects like ants, but that's normal given the natural surroundings. The hotel environment is very new, small, and feels cozy. The outdoor bathroom was interesting, but there wasn't enough space for toiletries, so I had to take them back to the room. I'd suggest adding conditioner, as it's a must-have for women. Also, it would be great if breakfast hours could be extended. After all, when you're on vacation, you want to sleep in a bit. I missed breakfast both days, which was a shame. Overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended for self-driving travelers.
