Sheraton Taitung Hotel

Probably one of the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed in Taiwan. The overall environment is pleasant, and the breakfast has a lot of options too. The location is also right in the centre of a local market, the hotel also have free bike rental service.

Not the cheapest hotel in the center, but worth it. Very nice room, friendly staff and a great breakfast. Reachable from the train station by taxi in 10-15 minutes.

Its a very good hotel and best stay of our trip. Below is just the taitung night market. Walking distance to tiehua village and the dragonfly chicken. Hotel from carpark to lobby to room is awesome and it's clean. Staff were nice and friendly. They have a kids room with switch and children colouring. Swimming pool to wear a swimming cap. Note that they have close off timing. So check the availability for the facilities. Thank you it was a good stay

Hotel is really nice. Modern clean and in a central location. The room was ok but for one fault, there was no separation between the bathroom and the room. Everything else was superb! Highly recommend this hotel.

Pillow too soft. Best if choices are given. The staff service are generally cold. Service has a lot of room for improvement.

Fabulous - great value for the price. Would stay again when we return to Taiwan next time

Pool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed. Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door. Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes. 2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor. Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately.
