Sugar Marina Hotel -Aviator- Phuket Airport

In the area it's a little bit more expensive than average so you would have slightly more expectation however I think it is a bit dated and needs a refurbishment. I didn't really have a problem with most of the staff however one of the cleaning staff saw me coming towards the elevator and quickly hit the door closed button which I thought was pretty rude I think maybe the cleaning staff could benefit with a little bit of public relations training . They should be waiting for us not in reverse. The bed was comfortable but there were things that didn't work particularly well like the sliding door didn't close properly and every single one of the power outlets was loose so my phone charger just fell out over and over again. The carpets and the furnishings were quite dated as well. I liked the airplane theme .

There were ants in the room on the table. Overall the cleanliness of the hotel was a question mark. I left the room a few minutes after i checked in. They didnt give me a refund but its okay as i couldnt sleep knowing there could be an infestation issue.

I've been here many times but this time the room was not clean enough. I found lots of hair on the floor, in the toilet even stuck to hairdryer.

The hotel is great, food also is nice. I will definitely stay in this hotel once more. Thank you!
