Michelia Valley Hotel

Spacious room. Fantastic view. Pleasant service. Convenient location.

The hotel's location is stunning, with the veranda seemingly floating above the mountains! The room is good, offering magnificent views from the window, and the service is excellent. What I didn't like was the complete absence of individual toiletries in the room, and there was no bottled water either – I had to boil and cool tap water. Just a heads-up: there's a very steep descent, but there's a separate parking area for bikes at the bottom. Overall, I had a good impression.

I've stayed here multiple times, and this time the price was even better.

This orange-colored guesthouse is tucked away on a steep, uphill road, making it very quiet and peaceful, far from the main thoroughfare. I chose an attic room with a small window. There's no air conditioning, but it wasn't needed at all as the evenings in the mountains were quite cool. There's a lovely coffee shop right outside. Most importantly, the pure cotton bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable to lie on! I slept wonderfully. The host was very kind and tried hard to communicate with me about my itinerary, offering help and suggestions.
