ONE STATION HOTEL KUMAMOTO～DLIGHT LIFE＆HOTELS　（Formerly The New Hotel Kumamoto)

This hotel is super luxurious and incredibly close to the train station, literally a one-minute walk. We stayed in a luxury suite, which came with complimentary cocktails. There's a bartender on the first floor to mix drinks for you, and on the fourth floor, you can mix your own. The fourth floor also has plenty of instant noodles, nuts, and more. The bathroom and shower are separate (wet/dry design), and there's even a small room where insomniacs can watch movies. It has two large beds, plus a sofa bed that can also be made up with bedding.

Loved this hotel! I took my kids to Kumamoto for summer vacation, and the overall decor was a lovely natural wood style. I really appreciate how spacious the room was; we could easily lay out two 30-inch suitcases. The location is super convenient – just come out of Kumamoto Station's East Exit, turn left and walk about 200m past a large Bic Camera store, then turn right and you're there. From our room's window, we had a view of Amu Plaza. I'd definitely stay here again next time! Wishing all the best to the people of Kumamoto!

Booked for 4 nights, and only after sleeping there for two nights did I discover the back of the pillow looked like this 🤙🤙🤙. Immediately contacted Trip.com customer service, who were very helpful. This hotel has poor hygiene. Friends considering booking, please think twice.

Traveling with our child during the summer holiday, we booked a double room with three beds (one sofa bed). The room's location was excellent; the ice machine and microwave were right outside the door. It's a convenient 5-minute walk from Kumamoto Station, making it super easy to get to multiple attractions and cities daily without much walking. Kumamoto Station itself has a mall, supermarket, and a food court, so all your dining and shopping needs are covered. For city attractions, you can buy a one-day tram pass. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Kumamoto, mainly because it saves so much walking!

This hotel is incredibly convenient! It's right outside Kumamoto Station, so you don't have to drag your luggage far, which I loved. The room was also very spacious; even with my two kids, it didn't feel cramped at all. Overall, it was excellent.

Lots of Kumamon in Kumamoto, but it seems there weren't any in the hotel itself. It would have been even better if there were some in the room. The room facilities felt quite new, so it doesn't seem like a very old hotel.

The hotel's front desk service was excellent. They quickly and helpfully resolved a bug with the parking lot access, which was very thoughtful. The room was small, a typical Japanese-style room. The location is quite good. The image shows the information for the hotel's partner parking lot.
