The sheets looked very dirty and the service attitude was terrible. They were bullying Chinese people. The cleaning staff were shouting loudly, and when I washed my hands, they accused me of making the floor wet. When I ate a bit more at breakfast, they gave me cold stares. The chef was grumbling and swearing. Seriously, avoid this place, it's disgusting. They wouldn't let me check out or refund my money. It's truly rubbish.

The service was passable, but one employee seemed to treat Chinese and foreign guests differently. The facilities were really messy and in poor condition (though it was cheap). The bathroom was the worst part, and the bed made me feel like I was back in military training.

The location is fantastic, right inside the Old Quarter. It's very close to Hoan Kiem Lake, popular cafes, restaurants, snack stalls, and the night market—most places are within a 15-minute walk. The staff are also very nice and can communicate in English. I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm, which was very quiet, and the bed curtains provided excellent privacy. There's air conditioning and an elevator. The only minor complaint is that the toilets and showers are shared by both men and women. While they were clean, it was a bit uncomfortable running into shirtless men when leaving the room in the morning. I made sure to avoid peak times later on, which made it more bearable. Overall, it's still very good value for money.

Excellent! The price was very reasonable for such a central location in the Old Quarter, really close to Hoan Kiem Lake. The front desk staff spoke English and showed us to our room. The air conditioning was strong, which was perfect for coming back to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

I booked for two nights. On the first day, a lovely lady showed me to my room and told me about breakfast, which I thought was a nice touch. However, that evening I found a cockroach crawling on the bed, and the sheets were pilled and not new. This morning at breakfast, a tall guy with glasses asked for my bed number, which I found totally bizarre. I mean, if I wasn't staying here, would I even be allowed to eat breakfast? I don't know what he was thinking. After breakfast, I went back to my bed and saw another small cockroach crawling around. The shower space is quite small, and the breakfast area on the 7th floor is open-air, so when it rains, the floor gets wet. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience, except for the friendly lady who checked me in on the first day.
