Song Jung Hotel

Visited in December. There was a small balcony with a nice view of the beach. The location is great and the staff are helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for an affordable stay right on the beach.

The  room faced the beach front and so had a great view for sunrise and for the beach. This also was a little bit of an issue as there was a lot of music playing loudly (Korean singing)and so it was not easy to find quiet space. They need to double glaze the windows. I stayed six nights in a large twin queen bed room which was spacious and very clean. The last night, however, there was a storm and so there was a loud tapping sound coming through the a/c unit which meant no sleep- this marred a very good experience. The staff were kind enough to give me an extra hour in the room after check out.  There is no breakfast provided but Cafe 1911 has lovely sandwiches and coffee.  Location is excellent with plenty of eating places around and only about 15 mins walk to train station and buses. Shower was somewhat tepid on first night but did get hotter over subsequent days. Shower pressure was low but this was fine as it meant less water being used and less water on the floor. The shower is  over a bath tub and usually I do not like these as they are slippery and dangerous; however, this bath tub had raised sections in it which provided grip.

place was spacious and it is in front of the beach, i like the cafe on the 2nd floor of the building as well

We booked this for just one night over a weekend and it was a brilliant location to visit the Yonggusa temple, not to mention lovely to be so near the sea.

I checked into Songjung Hotel for a weekend tango event. Check-in with my trip.com voucher was seamless. My room was ready early. It is an older hotel, but very roomy, clean, and the ocean view was amazing from the walk-out balcony. The tango event was held in a lovely ballroom at the hotel, so although I could have opted for a more modern hotel, I was very happy that I chose Songjung Hotel. This was my first experience with trip.com. I am happy with the experience. Pictures are from my balcony.
