Song Jung Hotel

Great location, right along the beach. Lots of nice amenities. Very easy check in and check out. Great view even from basic room.

The room is very spacious I can rest very well. I’m lucky to get a room that has partial sea view. Even though I didn’t walk on the sand, I think there is some sand in the room and on the bed. The sunset is pretty from the room and I can see the people on the beach. Sometimes there is busking at night but they stop singing at like 10pm. But after that time, the beach is still very popular, the snack shops have long queues and I bought from there too. I love that there is an ice cream shop in the same building as the hotel. The distance from metro is around 10-15 minutes, but to get the sea view it is acceptable. Some bus stops are closer than the metro station.

Visited in December. There was a small balcony with a nice view of the beach. The location is great and the staff are helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for an affordable stay right on the beach.

The  room faced the beach front and so had a great view for sunrise and for the beach. This also was a little bit of an issue as there was a lot of music playing loudly (Korean singing)and so it was not easy to find quiet space. They need to double glaze the windows. I stayed six nights in a large twin queen bed room which was spacious and very clean. The last night, however, there was a storm and so there was a loud tapping sound coming through the a/c unit which meant no sleep- this marred a very good experience. The staff were kind enough to give me an extra hour in the room after check out.  There is no breakfast provided but Cafe 1911 has lovely sandwiches and coffee.  Location is excellent with plenty of eating places around and only about 15 mins walk to train station and buses. Shower was somewhat tepid on first night but did get hotter over subsequent days. Shower pressure was low but this was fine as it meant less water being used and less water on the floor. The shower is  over a bath tub and usually I do not like these as they are slippery and dangerous; however, this bath tub had raised sections in it which provided grip.
